Local Profile magazine, formerly Plano Profile, is a community-based cross-channel publication for those who live or work in Collin County, Texas, an affluent community just north of Dallas. The combination of affluent citizens, exceptional healthcare, business growth, exemplary schools, and a diverse demographic make up the fabric

of Collin County

Our print publication is delivered monthly by direct mail to 50,000 homes and businesses across Collin County: Plano, Allen, Frisco, McKinney, Prosper, Celina, Fairview, Richardson and Far North Dallas. Our print publication is delivered monthly by direct mail to 47,000 of the most affluent homes in and around Plano, with average home values in excess of $515,000. An additional 3,000 print magazines are distributed to local businesses and key partners including; The Plano Chamber of Commerce; Plano Government; doctors offices; leading businesses; Downtown Plano; The Shops at Legacy; Toyota Corporate Headquarters, California and Mercedes Benz. Our website is updated daily with local news and events and our weekly email newsletter keeps readers up to date with everything going on in and around Plano. For nearly 40 years, business, civic and nonprofit leaders have looked to Local Profile to tell their stories. Our readers are apprised of current trends, volunteer opportunities, literature, the arts, education, and county-wide events. It’s official. We are now Local Profile. We are passionate about sharing content that is both universally powerful and uniquely local

This brand refresh reflects that communities span borders, and so do we. It’s not a new philosophy for us. Our new name simply formalizes the mindset we’ve had for a long time now—that if someone lives in Plano, they’ll still care about the interesting things happening in Frisco. Life doesn't stop where city borders do, and to live in Collin County is to enjoy the benefits of every municipality in the metroplex.

To be local is to be part of the greater life of a community. It’s the privilege and the responsibility we all share to turn a piece of land into a place, and a place into a home. To be part of the local community is to be involved, to know where the needs are and be willing to take action. To be local is to belong.

A community is defined as a group of people living in the same place or a feeling of fellowship as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals. We share the same space and we all, regardless of our differences, want the same thing: a safe place to live a healthy life with abundant opportunity for all.
