Rappers T.I. and Killer Mike are joining forces to revive Bankhead Seafood, an iconic Black-owned Atlanta restaurant closed in 2018 after 50 years. - Helen Brown Harden’s Bankhead Seafood on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway closed in January. T.I. and Killer Mike, local residents, intervened to rescue the cherished restaurant. - In 2019, T.I. and Killer Mike acquired Bankhead Seafood, planning a relaunch at Frederick Douglass High School. A Bankhead food truck will precede, promoting the expanded menu and Black-owned businesses to local kids.
