From my friend who is Abby’s foster.
Can you please spread the word about our latest foster named Abby? We have posted her on several groups on Facebook and her story has been shared many times, but I have not received one single text or call about her. Gulp. I did talk to the shelter manager and she agreed to waive the $195 adoption fee! Abby was found with injuries when she was a puppy. She is just now turning 11 months old. We are guessing she is a Black Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix. Abby is very playful. She loves toys! She is good on a leash and needs an active family. She was briefly adopted out by a 70 year old woman but she was too active for her. Abby loves other dogs! She would be the best playmate for someone who has a dog that is lonely! She walks good on a leash and is crate trained. She is a chewer (remember she is a toddler in doggy years) so she must be kept busy with chew toys. She loves her peanut butter filled Kong! Abby has been spayed, microchipped and is current on all vaccines! The shelter spent hundreds of dollars for her medical care, but again they are waiving her adoption fee for the right family!
