We hope you had a great weekend.

Ours was spent playing an embarrassing amount of Minecraft ⛏️😂

But it’s been fun and has been a great way to relax at the end of the day and spend time with friends.

I’m working on finishing House of Sky and Breath from the Crescent city series by SJM and then next on the roster is Fourth Wing!

Hey everyone!

Jackson has been a little MIA recently just because we’ve been so busy with work and our business (.co )! A few ago I was in NYC for work and then last week I came back to Colorado with Jo (my pup) for an amazing all girls camping trip with and !

Though from time to time I disdain the internet and the amount of time it steals away from my life but there are those few people that you get to meet by no other means than social media and it’s in these connections that in someways I can truly be myself. Funny how it can be that way sometimes.

Thank you for such a wonderful time in the mountains and I can’t wait to return ⛰️

We hope you had a great weekend.

We spent it working on the business and spending quality time with friends and family!

I also had to learn Adobe Illustrator to create a customized logo and boy it’s a crazy tool to learn. If you are the type to watch aesthetically pleasing short videos on YouTube Shorts I highly recommend watching people create these logos on illustrator, it blows my mind and a lot of them are super cool! The logo is still a draft and hope to take a step back and revisit it.

Almost all the time it’s best when working on a project to draft your idea and then take some time away to look back on it with fresh eyes. Most of the time you return to it and tell yourself “what was I thinking?!” 😅 at least for me, anyone else feel the same lol.

I just realized we live almost been in Instagram for one whole year 🤯!

Where has the time gone?

Also it make be time to trim down Jack’s for a bit. You can see it curling and getting a little messy in the front. A slight trim may help eliminate matting as well.

Not many people see cats out in public and so whenever I take him into town to snap some cute pics I always feel the eyes of people on me whenever I’m with him 😅
I would like to say I’ve gotten used to it (a little ) but honestly it can feel like one of the most awkward and uncomfortable things!!

Many of the things are here at when people whisper.. “omg is that a cat??”
Or the complete opposite
“WOW that’s a cat! May I pet him?!?!”

I always say yes because I think it’s important for people to see the gentle side of these tragically misunderstood felines.
Jackson is a trooper in the city and I love him as my companion 🤍🎄

I’m not sure why I never used the 85mm 1.8 before - but now I’m completely in love 😍

Quick update:
Many of you don’t know but I recently got engaged!! 💍
We’re currently looking at wedding venues 💒 🏔️and figuring out our budget and it’s been quite the hassle!

Planning is not easy especially when both of us are working full time, working hard to start up a dream business, and making sure we keep up with our personal hobbies. 🏋️‍♀️🛠️

It’s also super important to not let outside influences become a barrier when planning such an important day! Wether that be friends, family, amount of money spent, or social media.

For us what matters the most is our union together and making an absolute promise under God 🤍regardless of outside opinions or expectations.

And we’re off!

Colorado talk was definitely one to remember and I encourage those who can get out and see the leaves turn to do so! It’s an incredible works of work nature puts on display 💛

During these row weeks I become a more experienced photographer, went to sights unseen before, spent some quality time with family and established a new found friendship!

Now ahead us the 13 he drive back to north Texas 🚙

Here’s simple portrait of Jackson amongst the aspen leaf litter and I just love the way the light was hitting his face. Hard one to edit though I must admit.

As of now I have no Halloween plans and should try to figure out something soon ☺️

Growing up what was your absolute favorite costume to wear?
I always wanted to be a dinosaur every year and when my parents dressed me up as Cinderella I threw a massive fit 😆

Wish I had more light to work with in the first shot but the yellows of the aspens will never cease to amaze me. I swear since we got here- they’ve been getting brighter and brighter.
