So I guess it’s time to announce. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Monday I will be starting my new job. I finally landed a job with the state of Tennessee! 🙌🏼 it honestly feels good to be getting back to a regular scheduled job and working! And this is such a huge opportunity for my family!

With that being said, I will no longer be doing photography after the end of the year. To clarify, if we already have sessions planned, those will still happen. I will be working hard this week and next week to get pictures out, especially Christmas pictures. But from here on out, I will not be taking on any new clients. I will, however, still do pictures for those close to me!

I am thankful for this because being in a business (although extremely successful my first year of “actual business”) it has taken a lot of the fun out of it for me. So getting to go back to just doing it for fun on the side will make me love it again like I used to!

I couldn’t be happier with this decision for myself and my family, and really look forward to what our future holds. 💕💙

Christmas proofing galleries will be going out today and tomorrow! As soon as those galleries are sent back they will be finished promptly and sent back!

So I haven’t posted an updated yet, because it really just hurts to much to admit.

Saturday, my sweet mother, my best friend, my biggest supporter, left my side and went to sleep peacefully. 💔

She was my absolute best friend and honestly this is the hardest thing I have ever had to face in my life, so please forgive me and bare with me. I try to respond to messages as I can but the next two days will be nothing short of hard. So I won’t be responding.

I will resume and reschedule as soon as I return home, empty hearted. 💔

I don’t share much of my personal life on this page, as I try to keep my personal life separate from my business life, but when it’s affecting my business life, I have to share with my clients.

My mom was diagnosed and battling stage 4 lung cancer at the beginning of this year. She went through chemo and radiation and we thought had beat it! Her doctor released her from treatments and said she was in remission!

After radiation she got sick and battled this sickness for 2-3 months before finally deciding to go to the doctor. She was placed in the hospital and we were informed her cancer was back with a vengeance and it was terminal.

My mother is currently at home comfortable and passing away from cancer and it is by far the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with, go through, or watch. The doctor said she has 3 months or less (more likely less than 1). 💔 something I absolutely never wanted to hear. Right now she is still slightly communicative but it’s deteriorating.

Her birthday is Halloween, her favorite day. 🎃👻

Due to this, my need to be with her, and my need to make these last memories with her, all Christmas sessions this weekend following Halloween will be rescheduled. I am so sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. I thank those who are understanding and praying for my family! It means more than you know!

While I understand the importance of pictures, I understand the importance of family and that comes first for anyone.

I will be rescheduling any sessions this weekend as I will be going out of town to be with family for reasons not mentioned. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause for anyone and I will work to reschedule those once I return.

I also wanted to make the announcement that I will not be accepting any new clients for the rest of this year and will be taking December and January off after all sessions have been completed.
