Being raised in Cranks and living with grandparents and older adults I learned about the old ways. Never throwing anything out until its usefulness is gone. Repurposing everything and reusing what you have. I hope to pass them on to anyone who wants to learn. :)

I used to think starting with big projects when trying to make changes was the quickest way. I have learned if you can't start with the small things then you will have a much harder time with the big things. Start small and always move forward.
