Hi all,

Just another quick update. The SBA OIG has issued a second response letting me know the three fraud complaints are still open cases on their end and under review. As with all government work, it will be slow, but I will continue to follow up.

Robert is still hiding out in Stockbridge. Johnathan still works with Shane Vaughn's church in Mississippi, though he did say it is unlikely Johnathan's contract will be renewed. Some pieces of property of church members that went missing upon this church's rugpull have been returned/paid for, though there are members who are owed many thousands of dollars personally still.

Also, as some of you are aware, Johnathan reached out to me early in this page's existence to first bad mouth his father, ask what documents I had seen regarding the church, ask me for professional advice, and then, of course, ask for a loan so that he could move his family away from Shane's church, offering his wife's wedding ring as collateral. (Talk about poking the bear!)

I obliged not out of trust in Johnathan, but in hopes he could raise his small children outside of the influence of the Mississippi church widely considered "cult-like". I was very upfront with Johnathan that I did not think this ring was worth anywhere close to what he claimed to have paid so the loan is partially uncollateralized, but for those who have reached out to make sure I did not get ripped off, have no worries, as I still possess his wife's wedding ring as collateral and I value truth more than $5k.

He went radio-silent as soon as I first confronted him privately, but has begrudgingly made his payments like a good boy, and I will enforce my contract with him legally should I need to.

For those wondering the details of Johnathan Nash's arrest a couple years ago, somebody familiar with the situation very kindly filled us in, so I wanted to bring it to the top for all to see.

Funny how brazen bullies get when they think their victims won't fight back. Seems like it might take a rougher approach to get them to finally stop.

As a poet once asked, "What's a goon to a goblin?" Well, Johnathan, I just might be your goblin.

As I look at this situation, the damage and hurt it has caused to scores of people, this quote rings in my head. "Whenever there's a catastrophe, always look for the helpers... If you look for the helpers, you'll know there's hope."

The pandemic changed the entire world, many millions of people struggled to just get by, millions dead, and many millions more simply left behind, livelihoods crushed, feeling hopeless with no recourse. I hope we never experience something similar in our lifetimes again.

Johnathan - you could have been a hero. You could have saved the church, and your own family, while caring for those you've known for your entire life. But for some reason, you took another path, deciding to hide your actions, blowing illicit funds on fashion trinkets and nonsense. Your father has been hiding in the same boat for many years. Frankly, while we have a little fun with it to cope, it's depressing to even learn this about those you care about, and, having spoken to many of you watching this, I know finding out the truth has been incredibly painful to many of you, even rocking your faith at times.

Evil actions must be addressed, and it's often ugly, but you should know, the world still has helpers, and each one of us can be one too. Proud to call all those who have reached out with their concerns and evidence, with no expectation of reward or recognition, a friend. Thank you for being here.

Turns out, just months before this church loan, Johnathan had apparently been pretty busy on these EIDL loans already. Formed a legal corp for his music job mere days before applying for a $150k EIDL loan, and GA then dissolved the corporation due to Johnathan not keeping up the registration. He even claimed the church address as his own when filing the registration for his personal company!

Nearly $300k of loans he took out in 2020, destroying both his own "company" and the church finances. Absolutely mind-blowing that a man could apparently sneak away with $300k in relief funds intended to help businesses survive the pandemic and be crawling to others for more financial help just a couple years later. Yikes!

We're not always negative!

01/20/2023

I hear from a few folks that Robert's being evasive about where he went off to after leaving Covington and that quite a few people have been looking to chase down bad debt and personal loans he skipped out on.

While I don't intend to post this address publicly (don't want to displease Papa Zuck), happy to help via private message.

01/18/2023

While we've been showing Johnathan a little love after the latest revelations, we haven't forgotten about the others involved here.

Here at the Fan Club, we have strict journalistic standards so we don't post anything as fact that we haven't personally vetted. But we hear there's a rather interesting video out there that directly led to a certain disgraced Pastor's sudden departure from the Newton County school bus driver system. We've intentionally left this out of our reporting, out of respect for his family, but our hands are forced by silence.

$200 Amazon e-gift code to the first person to obtain this video and private message it to us. No questions asked. Even Robert can claim the prize. We may or may not repost.

We protect our contributors' confidentiality, as a matter of course, and enough readers out there know us personally that you have the S.B. guarantee - we ALWAYS make good on our word.

We've heard back from the SBA on this mysterious $128k loan Robert denies any knowledge of.

While the SBA can't release many specific details that we didn't already know without the church signing off on an info release, the SBA was happy to tell me the most important piece of info: who actually took out this $128k loan in the church's name?

Well, we have our answer now. It was Johnathan Nash.

Looks like the church has been put up for sale by the new owners for $555k. I can't tell for sure, but it makes no mention of the parsonage/other home on the property so possible that's being split from this sale.

It does go to show how short-sighted of a decision it was to simply stop paying the mortgage for years and let the entire property go for merely $431k, when there was a $128k EIDL COVID loan that could have been used to easily cover mortgage payments for several years (or even just selling off the parsonage/other home separately to save the actual church). So many ways this could have been avoided...

Another six-figures of hard-earned church equity up in smoke. Almost like it was intentional to let it go this way so the church entity can be dissolved and those (misappropriated) EIDL funds never repaid...

Happy Deposit Account Fraud Friday, y'all!

I won't bore you with every single charge Robert the Rascal has racked up, but STUNNING just how long he's been at this game. Practice makes perfect!

You shall not defraud your neighbor; you shall not steal; and *you shall not keep for yourself the wages of a laborer until morning* - Leviticus 19:13

Amazing that, around the same time Robert was dodging taxes on his healthy personal income while building the church, he couldn't seem to get around to paying the outside workers that built the church in the first place. Until they involved the legal system!

(Small world - he refused to pay the same exact ACE hardware store that he, more recently, was arrested for trying to pass a bad $5k check to. Brazen!)

01/04/2023

Does watching Robert and friends get away with defrauding people, yet again, make you angry? Feeling helpless, not sure what you can do? Or maybe you just have info you'd like to get to the right people, so this situation doesn't make you look guilty as well? Good news! You have options!

Let's start with this $128k EIDL loan. There are a number of federal agencies very keen on cracking down on misappropriation of public COVID/CARES Act money intended to keep churches afloat through the pandemic. The statue of limitations was extended to 10 years, financial transaction records last decades, years-long prison sentences are typical, and the SBA is going to want their money back soon.

Not the kind of fraud I'd want to get wrapped up in, and, if I did know anything, I'd rather be telling them before they found out themselves. FAIN 9683958210 is the exact EIDL loan ID that was granted and good to note in any report. Note that the Feds will keep your name anonymous if desired up to the point that they have to rely on it in a court of law. If your report helps them recover any fraudulent funds, you may even be eligible for a substantial reward, and you'll be protected by federal Whistleblower laws against retaliation.

Federal Agencies interested in EIDL fraud:

1) The Small Business Administration's Office of Inspector General - they make it easy to send along information or even just suspicion of fraud you might have from the convenience of your phone or computer. https://sbax.sba.gov/oigcss/ or 800-767-0385. You can even include the reference ID 202212204uf4 in your complaint to help them tie all these reports together with mine. (Tip: save your complaint ID and I can help you follow up anonymously with the SBA on the status of their investigation)

2) Next up is the Treasury Dept's Office of Inspector General, who has a similar interest in making sure money intended to rescue churches during the pandemic wasn't abused. Their fraud suspicion report link is here: https://forms.treasury.gov/treasuryforms/Form?templateID=a1Qt00000028jF0EAI

3) Last, but certainly not least, is the federal Pandemic Oversight commission. You can submit your concerns to them here: https://www.pandemicoversight.gov/contact/about-hotline

If you don't want to be the first to initiate a complaint, don't worry, I've submitted suspicion of fraud reports to all three agencies weeks ago based upon Robert's insistence he was entirely unaware of this loan, so you'd only be adding details and setting the record straight where needed. Also, Robert, I recorded our call, because I know you to be a habitual liar, so have your denial on record and have volunteered to give the file to any of these three investigatory bodies who wishes to hear it.

I'll also be following up with a few other agencies that'll be interested in the rest of these non-EIDL misadventures soon. Good luck, boys!

Hi Fan Club! While posts will slow down a bit as we wait for more info, don't worry, we're still on the case behind-the-scenes to find out and share what we can with you all, starting with the Jan 2021 $128k EIDL loan Robert seems to know nothing about.

Most the congregation (plus some!) watches this page, so we wished church leadership just respected you enough to give the SBA a quick call to clarify and end all this, but their silence is deafening.

We march onward! The SBA has 20 business days, excluding holidays, to respond to our info request...

Just a reminder to Kenny and the rest of the Board of Trustees-
Not only do you have a moral and biblical responsibility to be a good steward of God's money, you may also have a legal one (especially you, Kenny, as the sole remaining registered agent and CFO). Even now, we have direct evidence that several legally-required procedures for closing a church are not being followed (particularly since the church has a $128k federal EIDL lien, among others)

Some of you are good people who want answers as much as the rest of us. Some of you do not. Don't let unscrupulous men without your and your family's best interests in mind drag you down with them. You didn't sign up for this.

👏PAY👏YOUR👏TAXES👏ROBERT👏THIS👏IS👏SHAMEFUL👏

Amazing that a man who lived on church-owned tax-free property, while making substantial amounts of personal income, often paid by honest, hard-working church members making far less, still wants to try cheating on his taxes. Old, but just wanted to show his dishonesty isn't newfound.

Only posting a couple years, but there are more. Similar amounts are actively being pursued by the GA DOR, but I'm refraining from posting for now until I verify some technicalities of GA's tax lien record publishing law. I'm sure the IRS would love to hear about his more recent activities. Hello, somebody!

Not only was he caught trying to pass off a nearly $5k bad check in Social Circle, the state was seeking enhanced punishment due to his past arrests! Who will finally stop this man?!

On 12/30/2020, Apostolic Community Church received an EIDL (COVID Disaster relief) loan of $128,500. You can find this loan data here:
https://www.usaspending.gov/award/ASST_NON_9683958210_7300

The Pastor says he has absolutely no knowledge of this loan and wouldn't even know how to apply, but didn't seem interested in helping find out who applied for this loan in the church's name.

The church had not made payments to LS Capital in a very, very long time, leading to foreclosure, while the SBA states that SBA COVID-19 EIDL loan funds may be used for: “Working capital to make regular payments for operating expenses, including payroll, **rent/mortgage**, utilities, and other ordinary business expenses, and to pay business debt incurred at any time (past, present, or future)

Where did that $128,500 go so quickly if not paying the mortgage? Who applied for this loan?

Fortunately, this EIDL application can be FOIA requested. Might take some time to get that information, but have submitted a request to the SBA to find out more.

For whoever keeps reporting our ad, you should know a few things:

1) This page and our ad is and will remain in full compliance with Facebook terms of service and Georgia law, and it has been repeatedly re-approved by FB.

2) It costs a few pennies per person to run FB ads in Covington. We checked our couch cushions and found out we have a whole lot of pennies. We've reached several thousand people so far.

3) Billboards in Covington are surprisingly affordable if you prefer.

Apostolic Community Church in Covington, GA has closed. It was voluntarily sold for $431k, with only a loan balance of $152k reported on public foreclosure websites, yet the Pastor tells his church members there is little-to-no money left, after having spent months misleading them, and deletes church social media. What happened?

This page will dive into this question, using public records to shine the light on the activities of the church leadership, in hopes of bringing closure. Buckle up, it's a fun one!
