Rolling in with episode 228! We’ll call this episode the “deer in a business suit” episode😁Kirsten Rudberg is my guest this week and she’s sharing stories about how she grew up in places like Pakistan where she took in a very rich experience steeped in culture, art, customs and religion. As the host of the podcast Byte Sized Blessings, Kirsten appreciates a good story and a magical one at that. We’re delving into how she walked the Camino in 2013, which was quite unexpected for her and resulted from a series of spiritual nudges even though she was totally unfamiliar with the Camino beforehand. We’re also going to talk about how Kirsten feels that she had some input in her writing through a spirit presence who sat with her and applied pressure to write in a gentle way. Have you ever wondered what people study at divinity school? 📖Well we’re going to get into that as well and it involves baptism and Tupac Shakur among other things! Former fashion advertising rep Heceliza Perez is my guest this week. Her entrepreneurial side is balanced with a healthy sense of wellness these days. She’s got more of a meditative hustle going on. With her own retreat space in Costa Rica (sitting on ley lines, no less), she’s hoping to give others a break from the grind while facilitating curated events. Her forays into breathwork, reiki, and sound have provided more skills to share. We’re talking about her Catholic upbringing in San Diego and how she found herself radically shifting her life in 2017. As a first born Asian daughter, she embraced ambition, but she had to learn to regulate her nervous system and tune into her authentic self to continue achieving. I appreciate Heceliza’s capacity to trust her intuition and take flight into uncertain territory while traveling the world.
