I see a lot of so-called prophets giving annual words, writing books, etc. What I don't see out of many of them is what actual prophets do - confront wicked leaders in the Church and government. Why? They're false prophets who only care about fame and fortune.

It's sad to see people live in disobedience to God because of hyper-charismatic churches/ministries. God expressly commands us not to quench the Holy and not despise prophecies. Perhaps we wouldn't be hurt so often if we did better at examining everything.

Here are a few things we men can answer about ourselves to see if we're genuinely faithful to God:

- Are we loving our wives according to Ephesians 5?
- Are raising our children to revere God?
- What are we looking at on our devices when we're alone?
- Are we lusting after women who aren't our wives?
- Are we praying daily?
- Are we reading our Bibles daily to feed ourselves?

You see, what really matters are the things we men do that won't get us applause—the things the public doesn't know about.

God sees and knows everything we think, say, and do. So, what does God say about us? If that answer fills you with anxiety, dread, or uncertainty, then most likely, you need to repent.

Matthew 7:21-23
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

By using scripture, do I believe that the purported prophecies, healings, and other miracles that happened at IHOPKC were of God? No. Is there a chance some of them were? Sure. There's a chance I might get a billion dollars tomorrow.

REMEMBERING MARTYRS: The history of Valentine's Day begins with a man of God who honored marriage and was killed for it. February 14, Valentine's Day, is the legacy of a priest named Valentinus who defied the orders of Roman Emperor Claudius II that Roman soldiers should not marry. The emperor made this decision in order to keep his soldiers from weakening their will or softening their courage; he wanted their hearts bloodlessly cold. Valentinus had compassion on these soldiers and performed marriages in secret. In time, he was caught in his treasonous disobedience, beaten with clubs and martyred by beheading on February 14 in A.D. 269.
