Pharmacy Technician - Spring 2025 Online

This is a 14-week online Pharmacy Technician course. Approximately 420,000 technicians were employed in 2018. Employment of Pharmacy Technicians has a 7% growth projection each year through 2028.

The course is designed so that on Monday morning 8am of each week the assignments become available. You will have until Sunday evening at 1150pm to complete the week's assignments.

This class is also available for the Workforce Challenge Scholarship. If you have a high school diploma or GED equivalency and live in AR then you qualify for the scholarship.

The 2024 Annual Homecoming will be held on Thursday, July 4th this year! We are looking for volunteers to help work the stands. If you are interested in working a shift, please contact Sherry at the Chamber office.

Parade will begin downtown at 9 am and will end at Wynn Park. Food and festivities will begin at 10 am. Beauty pageants will be held throughout the day. JR Rogers and the All Star Band along with Canyon Creek Band will be entertaining the crowd with live music. Hulsey Amusements will have carnival rides (we will announce prices closer to the event). And the day will end with the firework show which will begin around 9 pm.

Don't forget to get your 4th of July Souvenir t-shirt and purchase your tickets for the 50/50 cash drawing! Do not have to be present to win.

So mark your calendars and come join us for a day FULL of FUN!

On Wednesday September 20, 2023 the Corning Police Department received information that a student threatened to cause harm at the Corning School District's homecoming events. After an extensive investigation into the allegations it was confirmed that the report was a false accusation made against a student and meant to be a joke. This situation was handled with the students safety at the forefront of the investigation. The Corning Police Department takes this type of threat serious and will put all efforts in to ensure the safety of the students. There will be officers at the home coming events to alleviate the concern of a threat. Remember to speak to your children and let them know that this type of incident is serious and is not funny. Also encourage them to speak up if they hear of anything concerning that is going on.
