This week's Clay County Courier shares the news of the efforts of the City of Corning to increase its local economy.
The city is encouraging new and expanding businesses to take a fresh look at Corning, Arkansas. The city has the perfect property, the former Walmart building, for a thriving business on Hwy 67.
The city-owned property is ideal for an expansive retail or assembly space. The building property provides a large paved parking lot with a loading dock for shipping, receiving and warehousing. There is 8,000 sq. ft. of additional warehouse storage. In addition, there is dedicated office space. The adjacent land available is perfect for future expansion and development.
The listing price for the approximated 7.6 acreage site, which contains the 39,000 sq. ft. building with 362 feet of highway frontage, is $749,500.
