and so we meet again...for the very first time

Thanks for joining us on this new adventure- we are hoping it provides an outlet for reflection and learning as well as a resource for those who are trying to piece some of these things together or build ministries and are looking for help.

For us, faith intersects life at every turn. How we choose to interact with it is generally up to us. We can meet faith and life with a black and white dualistic approach or we can let them interact and see what comes out. We believe that God is constantly coming alongside of us and where God meets us generally surprises us. I know Anna and I have been surprised many times just over the course of our relationship with how we have been moved by God - both literally and figuratively.

This is what we believe about God: God always meets us at the table no matter how many times we walk away. Or as Sarah Kay, the American poet, so eloquently states-

“Because there's nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it's sent away.”
