This orga

nization aims to give students hands-on experience in all facets of running an independent record label. ‘Cane Records has released 25 albums in the 20 years since its inception, and their 2012 release, Breaking the Surface, Vol. 2, won the Independent Music Awards for ‘Best Compilation’. The label has released music of all genres, including rock, R&B, classical, latin, funk, holiday, and more. One of the first of its kind, ‘Cane Records continues to be one of the leading student-run record labels in the country.
