We are elated and proud to announce that our beloved host, Doc, has been nominated once again by the ISSA (International Singer-Songwriters Association) for the 2025 Radio Station of the Year Award. Doc works extremely hard, not only over here at Ecstasy Radio, but is also one of the founding members of his own record label Rocksteady Records. We're not surprised, with how much work he puts in and the amount of passion he has for music, that he has (for the 3rd year in a row) been nominated for such a prestigious and well-deserved award. He's a champion for rock & metal music and a close friend to many within the industry. That said, we offer him the sincerest of congratulations.

Our special Sunday airing showcasing our Top 30 of Rock & Metal for 2024 we had planned will be postponed to either Monday or Tueday due to a bit of incredible and exciting news we received earlier this weekend that we'd like to share on the show. You'll understand why once we share it with you, we promise, and we hope you're just as excited to hear it as we are to tell you.

An issue has been brought to our attention by several fans of our show/station that they have been unable to navigate to this page because we have the word "Ecstasy" in our name and that, as a result, Facebook has flagged us for the possible "promoting of the sale of drugs" which is absolutely absurd. We are currently discussing possible solutions to address and correct this issue.

While we do so, we heavily suggest and implore all of our followers and fans to please take a second out of your day to head on over to our Youtube channel and subscribe if you haven't already so you can stay up to date and notified for when we release new shows over there. We have a new show premiering this Sunday at 7:30pm (CST). We apologize for the recent lack of activity, we've had several of our team members down sick with the cold virus that's been going around and then we took some time off to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday and festivities. We'll resume our show release schedule this Sunday.

Just a bit of an update:


We have a new show dropping in a few days. We apologize for being a little quiet, Doc had a lot important and exciting new developments over at his record label Rocksteady Records throughout the last week that needed his immediate attention so we decided to give him the week off to be able to let him focus on that. We're very proud of him for all of the work he puts in here at Ecstasy Radio and for taking the next step in his career with co-founding his own record label. Bex (video producer) was also down with a fever for much of the week/weekend but is feeling much better. As stated, we have a brand new show we'll be releasing over the next few days featuring an exclusive interview he did with the band XIII Minutes and a metric ton of new music.

..Our Thoughts...

"Pitiful" is a step and a step in the right direction with the band XIII Minutes. It distances itself away from their prior single "Cult Leader" with it's more mainstream and polished approach. It has the same energy that you would expect from the band and solidifies the band's core sound, but delves into more of their melodic side with the "Ooo, Ahhs" at the beginning and at the end. The lyrical content is just as potent and poignant as it grapples with the struggles of addiction and substance abuse, but it does so with a very clear precision. This song is a very strong addition to the band's catalog and we cannot wait to hear what else they have to offer in the future.

You can listen to "Pitiful" right here on Ecstasy Radio and can also find it on all of your favorite major streaming services (iTUnes, Spotify, etc etc). If you haven't already, we implore you to go give these guys a like and a follow on all of their social medias.
