✅️Loose weight for you, not anyone else.
✅️Be prepared for a new body.
✅️Adjust to your new body.
✅️Know your WHY for losing weight.
✅️Hair Loss.
✅️Give yourself grace when the scale doesn't go down.
✅️Celebrate the non-scale victories.
✅️Have a trustworthy support group when you're having a rough day.

💫Not everyone will go through these checkmarked items, but I'm here to tell you I did experience them. When it's all said and done, it was worth it......your worth it!💫

Most of you know who this beautiful woman is, and for those of you who don't, this is my mother. I've shared this picture on my main page, and now, I'm sharing it here.

Look at her smile. She is smiling from ear to ear. Why? Because she was happy on her decorated golf cart, my dad bought her. She decorated her "car" the way she wanted and never gave a thought to the whispers, laughs, and finger-pointing she received.

She would always say, "If no one likes it, they don't have to look. I love my buggy and the heck with whoever doesn't. " I always say," As long as you're don't physically, mentally, or verbally hurt another human being, do what makes you happy. Do what puts a smile on your face just like my mom did during her time on earth.

Life on earth is a one-shot deal. There are no retakes, pauses, or do-overs. Most of all, it's limited, and you can't get time back. Make the most of it while you're here!

Most of you know this while others do not. A year ago today I had weight loss surgery. I chose to do this for myself and only myself. I do not regret it at all. Weight loss is hard no matter how you choose to do it.

I'm here to tell you whatever journey you set out for yourself, DO NOT give up! YOU are worth every blood, sweat, and tear you shed along the way.

Once you achieve what you set out to do, I promise you, it will be so worth it in the end.
