Planning a Disney trip can be overwhelming but we’re here to help! These are just a few Disney tips.

🚃 There are a lot of perks to staying on site, and we genuinely generally always recommend it. You’ll enjoy free transportation, including buses, Skyliner, monorail and boats. You can see the bus schedule for your resort from the My Disney Experience app. You can enter the parks 30 minutes before other guests. Deluxe resort guests can also enjoy extended evening hours. There are awesome dining options. Every resort has pools to enjoy. There are lots of fun family activities like making s’mores and movie nights to enjoy.

📝 Be prepared with a plan and the right gear! Consider the weather when packing (bring ponchos, fans, etc). You’ll definitely want a portable charger. Consider an Instacart order for snacks or drinks as you can bring your own into the parks and your Disney resort will have a small refrigerator. Check out the dining options in advance so you’re not stuck being hangry and eating the closest average hamburger you can find-there are lots of fun and unique things to try.

🎥 Don’t spend your entire day running from ride to ride. Take the time to enjoy the parades, especially if you’re there for a party event. There are also lots of great shows, with the bonus of air conditioning, that we love. Favorites include Festival of the Lion King, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, For the First Time in Forever: Frozen Sing Along, Finding Nemo, and Mickey’s PhilharMagic.

🍺 There’s a reason there are so many of us Disney Adults! It goes beyond nostalgia and drinking around the world.

This audio is from my absolute favorite version of Cinderella, if you’ve never seen it, highly recommend.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is a celebration of Southern Pacific culture. Its tropical and relaxing atmosphere makes it a fan favorite amongst many guests. 🌴

The resort offers great transportation options, with monorail access to Epcot, as well as boat & monorail access to Magic Kingdom. Pro tip: if you stay in a building further from the lobby (e.g., Moh’orea), exit the monorail at the TTP center for a shorter commute to your room. You still have to bus to Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, but none of our buses were full on our last trip. 🌸

As one of Disney’s deluxe resorts, guests can take advantage of extended evening theme park hours on select days throughout each week. For those who like to head back to their resort early, you’ll have great public viewing spots for fireworks and the electrical water pageant! Not to mention great rooms from some rooms along the water.💥

The food options at the Polynesian are excellent! You can start your day with a character breakfast with Lilo & Stitch at O‘hana, can grab a frozen Dole Whip at the Pineapple Lanai in the afternoon, and round out your night with amazing drinks & entertainment at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar!🍹

The pool is large and offers a very fun & popular slide for the kids in each family, and the Polynesian also has a large splash pad for play too! Disney Vacation Club members have access to their own private pool and bar, boasting a calm & quiet atmosphere and a low crowds. 😎

Definitely a beautiful & classic resort to explore on your next trip! 💫

We think Rope Drop is awesome! But if you’re expecting light crowds and don’t have a plan, you’ll be hot, cranky and frustrated.

Magic Kingdom Rope Drop Tips:
🏰 Only Tomorrowland and Fantasyland are open during Early Entry (8:30-9am). This means everyone heading into the parks will be lined up at the entrance to one of those areas. Pictured here is the crowd waiting to enter Fantasyland. This means if you don’t have early entry, you should head to Frontierland at park opening.

⏰ They let you into the park 30-40 minutes before Early Entry. We usually snap a few pictures with the castle and head to our chosen line.

🎢 Tron is not open during early entry. If you rope drop it, you’ll basically just be rope dropping to then wait in line for another 30 minutes to official park opening. We prefer to buy a single ⚡️ Lane, use extended evening hours, keep an eye out for the midday lull or ride during a party.

Breakdown for rope drop this day:
7:20am Got on an empty bus at Beach Club. This was early, but it was the first day of our trip and I was excited.

7:39am Through security and in line to enter MK.

7:51am Scan into MK and head to Main Street

8:01am Join the crowd to enter Fantasyland. Put on neck fans because it’s hot and humid and packed.

8:30am Rope drop. Navigate the many strollers and join what looks like a long line before entering the actual Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Queue. But it goes quickly.

8:45am Board Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

8:51am Pooh is closed 😔 head to the Tea cups and walk on.

9:04am Enter Space Mountain Queue. Walk on ride. Mobile order breakfast tots during that long walk.

9:24am Pick up breakfast tots at The Lunching Pad. Delicious.

9:35am First Lightning Lane for Buzz-ride is down so get a multi experience ⚡️ pass and head back to Pooh.

9:55am Enjoy Pooh after 5 min wait in standby line.

10:12am Get to Its A Small World. Posted wait 15min, actually 5min.

10:35am Haunted Mansion ⚡️ Lane. Followed by shopping, a walk to the Grand Floridian and brunch at 1900 Park Fare. Have evening ⚡️ lanes set up for after your afternoon swim break.

Just needed a day at Epcot!

Pictured are some of our favorite random Epcot finds:

🦞 If you are on the Disney Dining plan and like seafood, do not miss the lobster tail that you can get for one snack credit at the Coastal Eats booth 😱 might be the best snack deal around during Food & Wine. The shrimp cocktail is also a good deal.

🍕 If you see the Pizza al Taglio pizza counter open in the Italy pavilion, we certainly recommend it!!

(Both of these tips provided on the recommendation of my wonderful family as I am both gluten free and have a shellfish allergy 😂😂) but the sparkling wine hit the spot! And stay posted for more allergy friendly recs - spoiler alert the lamb chop is my absolute favorite festival offering.

🍸 Also in Italy is the Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar. It’s a nice reprieve from the heat and we enjoyed the espresso martinis and limoncello flight!

🌮 La Cantina de San Angel is a great quick service option in Mexico. We were in a rush but wanted a margarita-this is by far the quickest way to get one in Mexico and we enjoyed it. More important to know, this is one of the only places that is open during the first hour of Extended Evening hours for deluxe resort guests. The food is delicious!

And everyone knows you can’t spend a day in Epcot without eating on a trash can!

Fireworks at Disney are a fan favorite, but not all Disney goers enjoy the Main Street crowds at the end of long day in Magic Kingdom. Below are some alternative viewing options: 💥

Guests of deluxe resorts in the Magic Kingdom area can all find viewing spots from their resorts, either in common viewing spots, or from fireworks rooms, an option when booking. Obviously a huge perk, but these resorts & rooms come with a higher price tag. 💰

You can also visit these resorts for a meal and watch from the various resort beaches or restaurants (California Grill and Narcoossee’s have the best fireworks views).

For those staying offsite or visiting for the day, consider parking at the Transportation & Ticket Center & taking the monorail to Magic Kingdom. At the end of your evening you’ll have an awesome view of the castle (next to the ferryboat launch) and fireworks, just before heading to your car and beating the crowd! 🎆

No matter where you’re viewing fireworks, the music from the show will be playing on loud speakers throughout , so it’ll really feel like you’re on Main Street! 💫

Do not sleep on Animal kingdom!! It’s an elite park, but many people skip it.

🦒 go on Kilimanjaro Safaris first thing in the morning! You’ll see the most animals out and about. They get hot in the Florida heat just like we do! This ride is not a good “mid day break” even if it’s relaxing. And I didn’t even show you baby 🐘 Corra yet, so stick around!

🍲 Animal Kingdom has the best food and drink options of any park other than Epcot. Quick service, table service, lounges-all delicious. Don’t get me started (again) on the GF churros at Nomad Lounge. Now that’s actually the perfect mid day break 😍

💃🏼the shows in this park are phenomenal. Festival of the Lion King is fantastic. The performers are amazing. We love the Finding Nemo show as well as Its Tough to be a Bug, which is sadly closing soon (this one is scary for some little kids). It’s easy to stack these during the hottest part of the day.

🎢 Avatar Flight of Passage is one of the best rides in WDW. If you have the chance to be in this park at night, do NOT miss it. Pandora is stunning in the dark.

The overall vibes in this park are amazing. I could spend days just wandering around.

What did I miss??

Feeling extra lucky to be riding GOTG Cosmic Rewind on the 21st of September!!!

📢 Disney has confirmed that fan favorite song September will be playing for all rides that day!

This is our favorite ride and one of the best song of options. I do enjoy the anticipation of waiting to hear what song I’m going to get but I’m extra excited for this special experience!

Anyone else???

If you’re new here, you’ll quickly find we love coming up with themes for every day of our trips. Making shirts ourselves, supporting small businesses who make fun shirts and accessories, , Mickey ears, , etc. we love it all!

✨It also spreads the joy and magic of a trip out for months before as we search for the perfect outfits and makes packing a breeze.

✨Send us your favorite Disney shops and looks!

If space travel 🚀 is your jam, you should consider checking out Space 220 in Epcot.

This restaurant and lounge offers two experiences. You can choose a prix-fixe meal, 2 courses at lunch or 3 for dinner in the formal restaurant area or the lounge experience. In the lounge you have the option of ordering from a menu of small snacks or the restaurant menu. Reservations go quickly for both experiences!

✨though the lounge is small, there is some availability for walk up seats in the lounge area. This includes at the bar or the 2-4 person tables in that area.

✨We think the highlights here are the journey to the Centauri Space Station, the view of Earth 🌍 from 220 miles up, and the fun drinks. Thus, we recommend the lounge experience so you can still enjoy eating around the world while getting to experience Space 220.

Some of the most unique aspects of Disney are the RunDisney events! Disney lovers and runners get the opportunity to run races in Disney theme parks across world - competing in 5K, 10K, 10-miler, 1/2 marathon, and even full marathon distances. 🏃‍♀️

Runners can run or walk through the Disney parks in themed race costumes, taking photos with Disney characters, experiencing live entertainment, as well as other fun activities along the course. Finishers receive a Disney-themed, one of a kind medal.🏅

RunDisney is super popular and the race events sell out FAST. Registration typically opens about 8-9 months before race day, but be sure to double check the date and time on the RunDisney website.💨

Before registering, you will need to have a RunDisney account set up on the website. We recommend having your computer on, set to the RunDisney website, and ready to go about 15 minutes before registration opens. ⭐️

Keep refreshing and once registration opens, click “Register Now” to be placed in the virtual queue. Your wait can be as short as 2 minutes or as long as an hour plus. Be patient! Most runners in the queue will get a spot. 💻

Registration costs include race access, your bib, your medal, and a post-race snack. It does NOT include hotel costs or park admission. 🏆

Runners must pick up their bibs and sign a race waiver at the World Wide World of Sports Expo the day before each race. 💫

Stay tuned for more tips and info, as some of the Pixie Dust Rx crew train for the 2025 RunDisney Springtime Surprise 10K! ✨

Don’t worry, Disney has your back. If this happens, you’ll see a “multi-experience pass” show up in your My Disney Experience App.

⚡️ This is a pass you can use at any attraction that is available via Lightning Lane Multipass.

⚡️ Note that this means you cannot use this pass on a ride with Individual Lightning Lanes. For example, if Haunted Mansion goes down, you will not be able to redeem this pass on Tron, but you could go to Space Mountain.

⚡️If you have a park hopper ticket, you can use this pass at another park.

⚡️If the ride goes down after you have swiped in, just head to the nearest Guest Relations stand (look for the huge blue umbrellas) and they’ll add this pass to your account.

⚡️If a ride you’ve purchased an Individual Lightning Lane for goes down during your return window, you’ll receive a similar pass to be used at any time that day for that ride specifically.

Think Disney takes 6+ months to plan?? Not necessarily!

We decided we needed a little wellness and planned this trip 7 days in advance 😱

While it was a whirlwind of a trip, it was absolutely worth it.

5am Spirit Airlines flight ➡️ Contemporary check in ➡️ Magic Kingdom ➡️ Steakhouse 71 (sat at the bar, no wait, no reservation needed) ➡️ nap time ➡️ extended evening hours at MK ➡️ sleep ➡️ Rope drop Flower & Garden Festival ➡️ 8pm flight home.

We even had time to grab cute shirts from Amazon.com and Five Below!

Check out the link in our bio for our favorite Spirit Airlines compliant personal item backpack-we were able to pack everything we needed in them!

Sometimes you just need a little Disney in your life 💜

Stressed out by virtual queues???

Good news, now there will be one less to worry about! Starting September 9th, Tron will be moving to a conventional standby line. It will still be available as an individual Lightning Lane Single Pass for purchase.

What do you think about this change??

Think Disney is just for kids?? Think again!

🍹 One of our favorite things to do at WDW is experience all of the different bars and lounges (kids are allowed! Check the evening hours, as some places become 21 & over at night). And this is a great time of year to do it.

👟Most are walk up only (Oga’s Cantina in Hollywood Studios does offerreservations, but if you miss out they have a walk up list you can join)

🍷Many are attached to table service restaurants, meaning you can try some of the foods served in the restaurant without sitting down for a whole meal. Some popular examples of this include the Ohana noodles at Tambu Lounge in the Polynesian Resort, the Cobb salad at the Hollywood Brown Derby lounge or the burger at the Steakhouse 71 bar.

🎟️ Many of our favorite lounges don’t even require a park ticket. You could easily spend the day doing a “bar crawl” around the monorail or Skyliner/Boardwalk resorts as well as Disney Springs. This is also a fun way to see different resorts (especially worthwhile when Christmas decorations are up) during a rest day or as a midday break from the parks.

🦒 Nomad Lounge in Animal Kingdom is a must-do for me every trip. I love to sit outside along the river, though the inside is nice as well. Since being diagnosed with celiac disease, the Gluten Free Churros are my absolute favorite food in Walt Disney World. If you don’t want to wait for a table, there’s a line at the bar you can order drinks or food to go. The other food items we have tried here have also been delicious (and we travel with lots of gluten eating folks ☺️)

📸 also pictured is La Cava de Tequila in Mexico, the Halloween flight at Enzo’s in Disney Springs, Oga’s Cantina and Trader Sam’s in the Polynesian. Trader Sam’s and La Cava de tequila are quite small, so arrive early. However, they’re both amazing!

Follow along as we share more details about all of the amazing food and drink options at WDW 💫

We love Epcot, but there are definitely some nuances that you’ll want to know before you go to have the best day possible! In honor of the first weekend of Food & Wine festival, we thought we’d share some tips.

🍷While the park generally opens around 9am (earlier for early entry), if you’re hoping to enjoy the festival booths, they open at 11am. This is also true for the majority of restaurants, bars and shops in World Showcase. However, the bakeries 🧁(including Les Halles in France) are open with park opening.

🚪there are 2 entrances to the park. If you are arriving via car, bus or monorail, you’ll enter at the front of the park by Spaceship Earth 🌍 . If you arrive via skyliner or from the Crescent Lake Resorts (Beach club, Yacht club, boardwalk or the 🦢 & 🐬), you’ll enter via the International Gateway, which is between the France and UK Pavilions. Plan your rope drop strategy accordingly!

✨There is no standby line for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. You’ll need to join the virtual queue or buy an individual Lightning Lane (or both, which we recommend, because this is our favorite WDW ride!)

✨Extended Evening hours are available to guests staying at Delixe Resorts. Check your trip dates to confirm but this is typically offered on Monday nights. This 2 hour period after the park is closed to the general public is a great time to ride the more popular rides with short wait times. There is also an additional virtual queue for Cosmic Rewind available-meaning you can ride as many as 3 times in one day! Just remember that the festival booths and majority of food stands will not be open during this period.

📚 Grab a festival information booklet as you enter the parks, which will have each festival booths offerings listed so you can make sure you try everything you want to while maximizing efficiency. There is also an allergy guide for each festival listed on the Disney website site and app.
