Fairfield County GOP | Executive Committee | February 2, 2023

Audio from the Fairfield County Republican Party Executive Committee meeting where the main topic centered around State Representative Jeff LaRe (District 73) and State Representative Kevin Miller (District 69) and 20 other Republicans voting with all Ohio House Democrats to select State Representative Jason Stephens (District 93) as House Speaker after pledging in caucus to back State Representative Derek Merrin (District 42).

Before a coalition of Fairfield County Central Committee members on the Executive Committee could put forth a resolution of no confidence in LaRe and Miller (and the other 20), the Executive Committee Chair, Branden Meyer recognized County Commissioner Dave Levacy who made a motion of support for LaRe and Miller. The motion to support was upheld by a majority of "Ayes".

Additionally, this vote was taken before State Central Committee Representatives, Jake and Sabrina Warner could address the group and remind them The Ohio Republican Party has censured all 22, including LaRe and Miller.
