I just want to say how proud I am of all the leaders of CCC Kingdom Kids. We made it through our first fire alarm going off during Sunday morning services and leaders handled the situation extremely efficiently! Thank you for all you do in keeping our kids safe and discipling them at the same time. I could not be more proud of each of you!

It’s easy to forget all the things God does to take care of us. This month, use your drive time to help you and your child remember. Take a few moments to pray when you get in the car or when you arrive where you are going. Pray for and thank God for things like: safety, a car to drive, money to buy groceries, teachers that help us learn, doctors to help us feel better, libraries to check out books, money to buy clothes, etc. Before you know it, you and your child will see God at work all around you.

If you are a parent of babies or toddlers and attend Christ Community, your infant/toddler is not just in childcare. Your babies are being prayed for and learning that Jesus is their good friend.Toddlers are playing games and learning rhymes, listening to stories and coloring Activity Pages. They’re doing all that at church to learn that Jesus is their good friend. But,
they’re not at church every day. In fact, they’re at home MUCH more than they’re with their leaders. So, you, at home, telling them that Jesus is their good friend will make much more of an impact than anything we do at church.
Some days, it’s hard to remember to “fit in” a spiritual lesson at home. The thing is, you don’t have to “fit in” the lesson at all. Children learn from
observation and speaking into their tiny ears. They will learn more about Jesus and good friends from you just by watching you than
anything you say. So, when you’re having a bad day (and we all have them), take a deep breath, a
moment to reflect and calm down, and remember that your preschooler is watching.
Listen to the Parent CUE Live podcast to hear more on some strategies that can help you get your rhythm back on a bad day. Thank you for partnering with us in helping to build your child's faith even as a baby!

Celebrate learning how to be a good friend!

If you are a parent of babies or toddlers and attend Christ Community, your infant/toddler is not just in childcare. Your babies are being prayed for and intentionally being told that Jesus is their FOREVER FRIEND during January. If they are a toddler, we have an amazing leader who is faithfully preparing activities for all leaders. She is training up the team to pray over these babies as they are being changed and to teach these activities that reinforce this theme of "Jesus being their FOREVER FRIEND." She is teaching them worship songs and it is simply delightful! Please read below to see the importance of partnering with us to build your child's faith from infancy. It is our privilege to partner with you as the parents. Thank you for entrusting your precious children into our care.

PARENT TIME:
We want our children to know that Jesus wants to be their friend forever. Isn’t that the goal? That they know Jesus? If that is the goal, who in your child’s life is showing him Jesus? Is that you? Is it your spouse? Are you the only ones?
The Bible tells us that “church” is a community.
It is a group of people not just a single individual. So, wouldn’t it make sense that we aren’t
supposed to be the only ones talking about Jesus with our kids? Our little people need to see Jesus and the adults surrounding them.
They need Small Group Leaders, grandparents, teachers and coaches who can teach them about Jesus when you are not around. Because here is the truth, you won’t always be around. As your little one grows, he will spend more and more time without you. Be sure you have surrounded him with adults who love Jesus as much as you do.
