There are over 10,000 people without power in East Alabama and West Georgia this morning due to this morning's line of severe storms. The rain and storms (non-severe), behind the initial line, should be coming to an end shortly, and once it does, power crews will be able to get to restoring power as soon as they can. Just know that if you are without power, you are not alone, many others are too!

A line of strong to severe storms is moving through the Chattahoochee Valley at this time. We are under a Tornado Watch until 9am EST, but once this line passes through, the severe threat should be coming to an end.
