This Jeep is mine, I have no intention of selling it, not now or ever.
Can you believe that two guys in their mid twentys to possibly 30 years of age actually had come onto my property and DEMANDED I sell it to them? They were told it wasn't for sale. They went so far as to threaten to fight me to get it. One of them had even stormed up to my front porch to fight me over MY Jeep. Fortunately my son stepped outside and the guy backed off.
This happened in Newcomerstown Ohio.
There are some really nice people in Newcomerstown, but there are a few that want to intimadate others and do as they wish.
No I didn't report what had happened, Why you may ask? Because nothing would have been done about it!
This really did happen in 2021. There's been numerous things happen throughout the years here. Like having our pool vandalized, items stolen from the backyard.
In 2009 an unknown 19 year old male tried to kick in our front door at 6 am, then threatened to beat me up just because he demanded we give him a ride somewhere. I called police on that one, talked to dispatch on the phone as the person yelled threats. Dispatch said he knew who it was by the voice... no officer responded. I did though find out later that this 19 year old (last name Bradford) was arrested and was wanted on several other charges, he plead guilty on a plea deal on charges and had been sentenced to a term in prison.
It was because of that individual that I learned my oldest daughter had been spreading lies about me among her friends of her being abused. In Newcomerstown, it's either join in with the bullying or eventually become their victim. Bullying here starts in middle school and some carry into adult years. It's a never ending cycle that no one tries to stop. Part of the problem is with the village itself, just in my time here, has hired a young man as a police officer with a grand theft conviction (stealing county property, then attempted to sell it) one had alcohol problems, drug problems and domestic violence in his past, and another had gambling problems.
The Village has had a bad reputation for generations. Just last year a former officer, who had once applied here, told me that the village can't attract good officers because of the low pay, it gets the ones other departments won't hire because of their poor record. I once saw an ad Newcomerstown put out for hiring officers and was shocked that someone could make more money delivering pizza!
This is just a few of what's happened here in this town. Just recently two young males actually knocked open my front door as I was outside in my back yard, when I came in through the back door, one was standing inside my house yelling he was there to fight me (I'm nearly 67 years old). My son came in and those two finally left, yelling threats as they were leaving. Charges were filed on them.
Everything said here is truth ...and to the guilty, the truth hurts!
Yet now I"M the bad guy....actually I'm a victim!
