Colleen has redeemed herself! I absolutely loved this book and couldn’t put it down!

November 9 has a great mix of humor, love, anger, and so much more. Colleen makes you feel every emotion possible which had me on an emotional rollercoaster. One page I’d be laughing then the next I’d be shedding tears.

Colleen’s writing style and character development throughout the book is flawless. The plot and the emotions that came with it is so unique and had me blown away!

If you haven’t read this book yet, what are doing?!?!

WOW! This book truly put into perspective the horrors of the Holocaust. It’s based on the true story of Lale, a Jewish man who is responsible for tattooing numbers on the prisoners of Auschwitz. There, he meets and falls in love with Gita, a prisoner who is waiting to be branded with a serial number. What comes after is a journey of survival, love, pain, and hope.

The emotional portrayal of the characters is beautiful and is something that I will always remember. This book needs to be in your tbr list!

Hello! I am new here to bookstagram and am excited to begin putting out content!

I have seen this book all over Instagram and tiktok and needed to read it. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that it didn’t live up to the hype.

The book was so much more intense than I expected. Colleen’s writing style was all over the place and what frustrates me was how my my emotions toward the characters constantly changed. I just couldn’t relate to lily. Her relationship with Ryle was too rushed and I don’t think they had time to fall in love.

Then Colleen tried to add too much to the plot than what I thought was needed. When Atlas was introduced with his homelessness I just wanted to close the book.

I usually love to read books of this sort, but sadly Colleen didn’t do it for me. Can’t say this is a bad book or a book I regret reading, but it did not meet my expectations.

Feel free to recommend any other CH books because I’m open to any new suggestions!
