No More Up-To-Date Data: This Facebook site will no longer be able to provide daily covid data. The State of Illinois has centralized its covid tracking and reporting system - opting to outsource with a contracted company. This takes the local tracking away from the Monroe County Health Department. The local health department will now rely on the data that is reported on the state website: https://dph.illinois.gov/covid19/data.html - which currently shows data from around Jan. 8 and most recently updated on Jan. 14.

From the Monroe County Health Dept.
The CDC recently lowered its days of isolation / quarantine from 10 days to 5.
There are certain groups which THIS DOES NOT APPLY - and at least 10 days is still advised for:

• Children younger than two years.
• Anyone unable to wear a proper face mask in public.
• The immunocompromised. Please follow your medical provider’s guidelines.
• Those with are working through covid deemed moderate or severe, including those who required hospitalization, intensive care, or ventilation support. Your medical provider may even extend your isolation time longer than 10 days.

Note: You should also check with your employer’s company policy on returning from covid. They may have guidelines stricter than the state’s.
