Todays wisdom. Sell a house , buy a house in another state, don’t hire mover and have no one to help pack, and plan a 32 day trip leaving 2 weeks later. Don’t think about packing for trip, clearing the house, changing kids schools, driver license, car registration, utility hook up/ disconnects, best decision ever said no one.

trying to be a good human. Like seriously. I posted free food. People are like can I have your freezer? Like was it listed???? NO SO NO! you cannot.
Took things to good will. Evidently my ghetto ratchet furniture isnt good enough. Who knew??
Called a local Charity to come get things like antiques, couches, dressers, kitchen table and chairs, bedframe, etc... They literally inspected and let me know I don't have super high quality stuff so they are not interested.
Posed on local fb pages and got nothing but no shows.

Seriously.... What has happened to society that a starting out family or a we lost everything family can be so picky? I mean my daughter has loved her comfy older used couch for 4 years. There is nothing wrong with it!! Its ugly yellow plaid but its sits your b***y off the floor. The kitchen table has a water ring on it. OMG THE WORLD IS ENDING! You cant eat dinner on a table with a water ring!!

I am downsizing half my house this move. I have no room or we wouldn't be getting rid of so much! I mean the furniture is ok for my family to use but I guess I don't have super high designer delusions. I have kids, cats and dogs.

Could I make a real estate transaction any harder??? I pick a house to buy owned by someone who is Chinese living in China. Seriously. So everything needs to be translated and he needs a notary at the American embassy. Plus there is some special tax stuff that needs to happen.

So the people buying my house…. They submitted a pre approval. Problem is the mortgage broker isn’t licensed in our state. So he couldn’t order the appraisal. So Oct 3 closing? Yeah that didn’t happen. Now my closing on new house is in jeopardy of having to change later. And do we as the seller get anything for being inconvenienced?? No just headache and frustration!

so my house has 20 smoke detectors and 2 of those are hard wired. we got an offer that wants 2 missing smoke detectors installed. I mean how many is to many????? from my desk there are 3 within sight. i think its over kill but whatever.....

Home selling update. Someone said the whole deck needs to be replaced. The deck is black and mossy from rain and no sun. So today it got pressure washed. We had 6 showings this weekend.

If I have one more person ask me that I will literally scream NO AND I DON'T WANT TO LIVE HERE!!!! because of the question. I was buying crickets for a beardie and was asked this. Obviously I live somewhere nearby or I wouldn't be buying 30 crickets at PetSmart. I was in hobby lobby and asked. I was in walmart and asked. Seriously does it matter??????

I was in Walmart and a gentleman was going around stopping people and telling everyone have a blessed day. I know that a nice thing to do but when I am grabbing a gallon of milk and some bread I am in a hurry and don't have time to be stopped for this. He literally stopped every single person in the store. He was like excuse me . How is your day going. Starting full on conversation.

It's definitely quirky here.

Seclusion and Isolation......... I live in a backwoods hillbilly hick town. Now that I have offended most people let me explain. I am from South of Chicago. In the middle of nowhere corn fields. Seriously NO WHERE!! BUT here is worse. WE just got a paved road last December. I am excited the road GOT PAVED! My neighbors are literal cows. My neighbor has a 50 gallon still in his front yard. My other neighbor used ot run a chicken plant for tyson. I am glad thats no longer. I would cry.
My house in is the Appalachian Mountains. And its really a free for all here. We have deer, bears, turkeys, cows, turtles, chickens, etc... that roam free and live here. I raised chickens but rehomed them for moving. I miss my girls terribly. I really enjoyed them.

So now this all sounds amazing right ? Well.. Let's look at the bad.
-The local grocery store closed. Nearest real store is 45 min away. Hope you don't need milk or bread.
-It rains internet goes out for days. There are no cell towers so that means we are cut off from the world. Did I mention its DIAL UP SPEED???? No joke.
-If power goes out its for days. Break out the generator. Oh and that means no water. Because Wait for it ..... we are well!!!! That's right no electric no water.
-Medical care in Georgia SUCKS !!!!! I am not exaggerating.
-The post office here sucks. Amazon does not deliver here.
-The people are not friendly. You have to the right family.

Random rambles..... My house is for sale. I spend my days cleaning , prepping, packing, hating it here more then anyone can imagine. I feel like my life is stuck on hold and I cannot hit the play button. I have depression and PTSD from the military. I struggle. Most people think oh her life is rainbows and fairy tales. No. My life is how can I survive another day? Will moving make it better? I loved living in Florida for 10 years. We only moved because he wanted to move here. The seclusion here sucks. That's a post for another day.

My house is for sale. This is the most not for faint of heart adventure. The feedback is sometimes depressing. Sometimes hilarious.
- Exotic sports car cant make it up driveway. But the shop would be perfect for them. If you have an exotic sports car the pave the driveway.
-Evidence of pets and children. Umm Hello... We live here....
-The unfinished basement is to unfinished. And it was too finished...
-The house needs complete remodel. We want marble counter tops. Umm feel free to do whatever after you buy it.
*Actually had an offer. It was insulting to say the least. Over 50k under ask. We argued back and forth they walked away. They came back. Made another offer. 30k under ask. We made is crystal clear that there is zero room for anything. Like don't even ask cause it's a Huge no!. they walked away again. Cheap A$$ people suck.

I want to scream!!! My husband decided to clean the oven on the day we have a showing. He doesn't get the no major projects thing. AND TBH he does things halfway or breaks it and I have to finish or hire someone to fix. My coping skills right now are zero. He used to be super good and helpful. I will make a post about his declining health and what I handle daily later. We had a fight about this. Yesterday we had a fight about him rearranging my kitchen. Something as little as measuring spoons go in the baking drawer with the measuring cups. Its common sense. Baking stuff goes together. Organization!!! This is not cool and it really upset me. I get he is now retired not by choice and collecting ssdi but he needs to respect me and some space.

Morning pondering..... Why is Walmart clearancing pool supplies? I still need salt and other items. I keep my pool open until late September. Just because school is back in Aug. 4 doesn't mean pool season is over!! That means I can enjoy in peace with no kids splashing me!!!

Went to ichiro hibachi express in dahlonega for lunch. I got a mango tea with mango pearls. Spicy Kani salad and dragon fly roll. Dave got the lunch shrimp special. It was delish as always!!
