Where: Clovis Senior Activity Center, 735 Third Street, Clovis, CA 93612

We’re thrilled to announce a brand-new event coming soon to the Senior Activity Center – The Embracing Wellness Symposium: A New Chapter After 50! Join us February 15 for a full day of powerful discussions, critical information, and most importantly, support for those headed into – or already well into – their golden years.

The symposium will feature several local experts and well-known names in our community to discuss health, safety, security, finances, and other critical topics.

Attendees will be greeted with a continental breakfast followed by a warm-up session from three-time Clovis Mayor and current City Councilmember Lynne Ashbeck and a keynote speech by four-time cancer survivor, mental health speaker, author, and radio show host Dianne Callahan. After the keynote, attendees will enjoy three break-out sessions of their choosing, a catered lunch, a cool-down session, and a raffle.

A limited number of tickets are available, so be sure to purchase your tickets early! Tickets are $20.00 and can be purchased now at the Senior Activity Center. The event is open to everyone over 50 – participants don’t need to be a resident of Clovis or a member of the Senior Activity Center to take part. Tickets include breakfast, lunch, and full access to the symposium event and all sessions throughout the day.

We’re proud to offer this meaningful, impactful event, and we hope to see you there!

The Wreaths Across America Wreath Laying Ceremony will be taking place this Saturday, December 14, at 8:30 AM at cemeteries throughout our community. This event invites the public to donate toward the purchase of wreaths and volunteer to lay them on the gravesites of veterans. This is a beautiful way to honor service members who are no longer with us this holiday season. For more information about donating or volunteering, visit wreathsacrossamerica.org

Wreaths Across America is just ONE week away!

The District is proud to sponsor the yearly Wreaths Across America event, where Wreath Laying Ceremonies will occur at Academy, Clovis, and Redbank Cemeteries on Saturday, December 14th, 2024.

Join the community in honoring the fallen, expressing gratitude to those who serve, and imparting the timeless lesson of freedom to the next generation. ❤️
