Often when I ask friends if they've heard my radio program Radio Paprika on WRUW-FM 91.1 Cleveland, they'll usually say that they're not up that early, or don't own a radio, or don't know how to stream, and quickly look away hoping to change the subject.
But don't worry! Even if you "don't own a radio" or are pretending that you never heard of "streaming", you can still find my radio playlists on Spotify, which I know you have. The only thing you won't hear is my clipped, midwestern mumbling between sets.

"Der König in Thule" is a German poem by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, written in 1774, and set to music by many composers, most notably Franz Schubert. The short, mysterious career of the female French duo Deux Filles started and ended in tragedy. Gemini Forque and Claudine Coule met as teenagers at a holiday pilgrimage to Lourdes, during which Coule’s mother died of an incurable lung disease, and Forque’s mother was killed and her father paralyzed in an auto accident. The two teens bonded over their shared grief and worked through their bereavement with music. However, after recording two albums and playing throughout Europe and North America, Forque and Coule disappeared without a trace in North Africa in 1984 during a trip to visit Algiers*
