So I was recently told by a random person that I looked healthier when I was slim vs me NOW that I’m thicker with a lot more muscle.

It’s sad that society associates skinny with being healthier vs if your thicker then you are not healthy.

Being healthy is not a look. Of course you want to make sure you are not on the verge of obesity but, it’s a mental, spiritual, physical and emotional state of mind as well.

The more you take your time in your fitness journey the longer you will keep off the weight. Those fast quick fix diets, pills etc will set you up for disappointment.

❗️Do you struggle with eating in a calorie deficit❗️

For most people this may be due to not having enough time to cook which leads to eating out or snacking too much because your hungry and not eating Whole Foods so that you are satisfied.

My suggestion: Meal prep for 2-3 days at a time. For example, prep Sundays and Tuesdays for lunch and dinner

It’s all about prioritizing. If you want results, you have to make time.

Remember❗️ You can’t outwork your diet.

What this means is, you can’t expect to lose weight just because you worked out. If your nutrition is out of wack (not in a calorie deficit) then you will most likely not see any change.

Fatloss is 80% nutrition and 20% training

That home circuit workout went crazy on Facebook 🙌🏽 so I will be posting more of those real soon.

Home workouts are still effective, you just need the right equipment and discipline!

❗️Tip for the weekend❗️

If your going to eat out, plan ahead. Look at the menu online (if available) and pick out something that will be satisfying but yet not too over the top.

Be mindful that you can lose the process you made all week in a matter of two days by eating in a serious calorie surplus. (Above the amount of calories needed to lose body fat AKA it’s the Opposite of a calorie deficit)

This is for the people who want to stay on track on the weekend.

Form & Technique over Weights ALWAYS!!!!

You should not be increasing your weights until your form and technique is correct.

Ignoring your form can lead to serious injuries.

Record yourself or even ask a professional to take a look at your form.

Instead of having a ”cheat day” have a Treat Meal”. It’s not cheating because you are still entitled to enjoy foods you love.

Don’t overdo it but also don’t be too strict as this may cause you to set your self back.
