Rossview AMAT Academy of Media Arts and Technology at Rossview High School. Welcome to the premier Digital Arts & Design program in Middle Tennessee!

During their four years with us at Rossview High School, students can become masters of photography, digital illustration, branding, and many other aspects of graphic design within our Academy of Media Arts & Technology (AMAT). Our program's primary goal is not only to help students discover and define their creativity as it applies to all areas of their education but also to prepare them for life

outside the walls of Rossview. The skills developed during this program will help them transition smoothly into any technical, collegiate, or professional experience that awaits them after high school graduation.

Support the RHS SkillsUSA Chapter and Create Club by purchasing a Valentine's Candy Gram!

Each Candy Gram features a custom design by Create Club members and includes candy. Deliveries will be made on **February 14th during 5th period**. To order, you’ll need cash and your recipient’s 5th-period teacher’s name.

Whether it’s for a partner, friend, or favorite teacher, buy as many as you like and spread the love this Valentine’s season! ❤️ Proceeds will help our members compete at the **SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference** in Chattanooga, TN, from April 14–17.

🎨🧠 Propaganda Posters with a Purpose!

Our Digital Arts II students put their design skills to the test by creating stunning propaganda posters with thought-provoking messages! Using Adobe Photoshop, they explored how elements like color, typography, and imagery can convey persuasive emotional or logical appeals.

In a unique twist, students collaborated with Psychology classmates, who analyzed the posters for psychological impact and provided constructive feedback. This interdisciplinary project highlighted the power of creativity and critical thinking in shaping ideas and influencing perspectives.

🎨🧠 Learning Across Disciplines at Rossview High School!

This week, Digital Arts II and Psychology students joined forces for a one-of-a-kind collaborative lesson that brought creativity and critical thinking together!

💡 Digital Arts students designed propaganda posters in Adobe Photoshop, applying principles of design to craft persuasive visual messages. Meanwhile, Psychology students evaluated these posters, analyzing their use of emotional and logical appeal.

This cross-curricular project highlights the best of hands-on learning, driving inquiry as students explored how design and psychology shape perspectives and influence decision-making.

🌟 Our Create Workshop Summer Camp at Rossview High School was a blast! From May 28-30, campers had an amazing time diving into Canva, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop. 🚀 From Interns to Junior Designers, our students gained valuable skills in typography, photo editing, and digital design.

Highlights included:
✨ Three days of hands-on training and development
✨ Deep dives into Adobe's powerful tools
✨ Creating their own creative posters showcasing their newfound skills!

We're so proud of our talented campers and can't wait to see what they create next! 🌈
