Rossview AMAT

Rossview AMAT Academy of Media Arts and Technology at Rossview High School. Welcome to the premier Digital Arts & Design program in Middle Tennessee!

During their four years with us at Rossview High School, students can become masters of photography, digital illustration, branding, and many other aspects of graphic design within our Academy of Media Arts & Technology (AMAT). Our program's primary goal is not only to help students discover and define their creativity as it applies to all areas of their education but also to prepare them for life

outside the walls of Rossview. The skills developed during this program will help them transition smoothly into any technical, collegiate, or professional experience that awaits them after high school graduation.

Success! The second edition brochures of the Clarksville-Montgomery County African-American Legacy Trail are in the home stretch of the design phase. Designing the brochure has taken a lot of focusβ€”it is more than twice the size of the first edition! The brochure is free and offered in locations around Clarksville, and in Visitors’ Centers across the state of TN. Mt. Olive Cemetery Historical Preservation Society is the 501(c)3 nonprofit home of the CMC African-American Legacy Trail. Mt. Olive’s mission is to preserve African-American history and culture within Clarksville/Montgomery County. Donations ARE tax deductible. The people in the brochure are important to not only Clarksville but most of them made a national and/or international impact. Clarence Cameron White, Wilma Rudolph, Dr. Robert T. Burt are a few of the people honored. This brochure was created by community volunteers in connection with one of our local high schools & everyone has given time, energy, and resources to make this an honored reality to people who made sacrifices in the past. We want to keep it alive. Mt. Olive and the Legacy Trail are currently fundraising for the next print run and plan to print the second edition this spring. Please, Make checks payable to Mt. Olive Historical Preservation Society and in the FOR section write, CMC Legacy Trail, and your money will be applied directly to the printing of the brochures. Mail checks to Mt. Olive Cemetery Historical Preservation Society, 590 Joshua Drive Clarksville, TN 37042. Check out the Mt. Olive page and website. We always need volunteers and donors.

Our talented Digital Arts I students have taken creativity and innovation to the next level by mastering the art of light painting photography! πŸ“ΈπŸ’« By manipulating the shutter speed and harnessing the power of manual mode on the Nikon DSLR 3200 camera, they've transformed ordinary moments into breathtaking visuals.

This isn't just about capturing stunning images; it's about equipping our students with cutting-edge technical skills that give them a competitive advantage. πŸš€ But it's more than just technical prowess; it's about opening a world of creative expression that transcends boundaries and speaks volumes.

As our students navigate through the complexities of digital photography, they're not just learning – they're innovating, creating, and expressing themselves in ways that were once unimaginable to them. 🌈 Through light painting, they're painting their paths, illuminating their futures, and showcasing the limitless possibilities that come with the blend of art and technology.

Stay tuned for more updates as our students continue to push the boundaries and redefine what's possible in the realm of digital arts. Because here, creativity knows no limits, and the future is as bright as the stunning light paintings they create. 🌟
