The journal is sponsored by the English department in the School of Arts and Humanities at CGU, which is also home to the Kingsley Tufts Poetry Awards and Kate Tufts Discovery Awards. As th

e Tufts poetry awards honor and support poets ascending the difficult beginning and middle summits of their careers, Foothill promotes the work of those still laboring through the apprenticeship of graduate study.
