4 years ago today we lost the amazing and lovely Mira Furlan. When I met Bruce, he talked about being in quarantine in Canada and learning of her passing. He was extremely forthcoming and earnest. Instead of sharing a bunch of photos and showing her "years", were going to share Bruce's heartfelt post from then. His connection to her and all of the B5 stars is legend. As Delenn said in the series (quoting Carl Sagan)"we are all star stuff".

Yesterday, I was brought to my knees.

She was one-of-a-kind. Although she had endured much heartache in her life, she always seemed to find a place in her heart for others and was especially passionate about causes. She was a living contradiction: a beautiful, graceful, compassionate soul with a strong, fierce, commanding courage. My wife has always described her as “angelic.” I can’t think of a better description in one word. Her welcoming aura was felt by anyone who had the privilege of being near her.

We have lost a light in our galaxy, but another has gained one. I will miss our talks, our laughs, our deep discussions about Hollywood and life. I will miss our dinners and trips abroad. I will miss the way her eyes sparkled when she smiled. I will miss her captivating voice and contagious laughter. I will miss sharing with her one of the most gratifying experiences of my life: the relationship between Sheridan and Delenn.

I will miss her.

David Lynch, known for his dreamlike, surrealist, neo-noir esoteric films has passed.
He saw success with films like Eraserhead, Blue Velvet, Wilde at Heart, Mulholland Drive, Inland Empire, and of course the forat production of Dube in cinema.
On television he with Mark Frost, created the quirky hit series Twin Peaks; A crime drama mixed with healthy doses of the surreal, this series is about FBI Agent Dale Cooper, who travels to the small logging town of Twin Peaks to solve the murder of seemingly innocent high schooler Laura Palmer. Almost nothing is as it seems, however, and the show's sometimes eerie visuals, oddball characters and wild dream sequences drive the point home.

His unique vision and talent for being truly weird will be missed.

Linda Lavin, star of the 1970s sitcom 'Alice' and a Tony winner who remained active in TV and on stage into her 80s, died Sunday. She was 87.
