A belated Christmas present for ya! We were honored to guest on The Feminine Critique Podcast with Emily Intravia to discuss the 1994 made-for-TV CBS movie, A Christmas Romance, a precursor to Hallmark Holiday movies starring diva Olivia Newton-John, heatthrob Gregory Harrison, adorable children and farm animals. We had a blast and we hope you do too! Thanks, Emily!

Our "I.." theme month continued with I,Madman(1989). This had a great premise but the ex*****on was not all there. The movie suffered from pacing issues and it took a while to get going. The script wasn't as tight as it could as there were some plot holes and confusing bits. But the biggest weakness is the lead performance by our heroine. She is onscreen for basically every frame but she was so wispy and listless. There were some good parts though. The kills and fantasy sequences were very stylishly directed and the makeup effects were neat too. We also loved the stop motion monster. Overall it was an uneven but enjoyable movie.

Our "I.." theme month continued with the I Don't Understand You(2024). A dark comedy of errors that had moments of funny but not enough to save it. The main problem is that the lead characters are kinda annoying. Everything that happens to them is of their own doing and we could've overlooked it but they are unlikeable. The horror bits are amusing and are the best parts of the movie. The leads are okay but the supporting cast are much better. A decent enough movie overall.
