Looking for something to do with your little one during the cold winter months? Join me for Pink Piggies this upcoming semester! Pink Piggies is so stinkin cute. We sing songs all about farms, counting money, and even learn some songs in Spanish! The Sound Beginnings program is the BEST way to introduce music to babies and toddlers. It is a researched backed program to start building a strong musical foundation. And the best part? It is SO much fun!

Can you believe my Presto students can play like this after only 8 months of lessons (30 lessons total!)

This is my first group of Presto 1 students playing one of our challenge songs. By this point in Presto, they have learned a C major scale, steps and skips, a basic left hand accompaniment, how to keep a steady beat (these guys liked to play fast), how to play in an ensemble with others, and SO much more. Pretty impressive right?

I still have two more Presto spots I would LOVE to fill for the fall. Shoot me a message if you are interested in learning more!

Here is a cute sneak peek into the studio! I decided to decorate one wall around the "theme" of which Sound Beginnings class I'm teaching for the semester.

Our next semester for Sound Beginnings is called "Brown Teddy Bears". We sing all about bears, the woods, the four seasons, and more! So...I have some cute bears playing in the woods on my wall.

You can also see a small peek into my piano room. This is where my Presto classes take place and they are always a blast!

I can't wait for you to see more at the open house on Tuesday! Come try a class, or just pop in and say hello!

Exciting news!

I recently moved my studio to a new location! I've put my whole heart into renovating the space over the last few months, and it is finally ready to officially open!

I'm so excited to start classes in the fall, especially because two other teachers will be joining me! (More to come on that later.) Between the three of us we will be able to offer Presto, Sound Beginnings, Piano, Violin, Cello, Viola, and Voice lessons.

This has been a big dream of mine for over a decade, and it is so exciting to finally see it all coming together.

I'll be hosting an open house on July 30th, and I would LOVE to see as many people as possible. Even if you aren't one of my students anymore, please pop in to say hello. And please share with any friends and family that may be interested in taking lessons!

It's button making time! When one of my Presto students passes off a challenge song, they earn a button to put on their bag. If they earn all the buttons by then end of the program I give them a special prize!

I love making the buttons, and the kids have so much fun collecting them! Can you guess how many I get to make this year?
