Tomorrow, March 23rd 2025, will mark my 40th Anniversary as a Professional Film Critic.
Jesus, 40 years. Wow.
I have a book coming out in July to commemorate that milestone called "40 Years 40 Films," which consists of reviews of, and essays about my favorite movie from each year since I started....it's gonna be pretty awesome.
Anyway, the explanation for this post:
40 years ago, on March 23rd 1985, THIS was the very first movie that I reviewed as a professional film critic.... needless to say, t's NOT in the book.
