Here is a HUGE reason why creating consistent content online is important, but I rarely see others talk about it.
People want... No People NEED TO SEE Social Proof. And that youâre the expert in what you say youâre an expert in.
When people are ready to buy, many become extremely diligent in their vetting process, to make sure that they are making a good investment.
They will not just look at your reviews, and go over your proposal with a fine tooth comb. They will review your websites, and social media pages. But if their is no additional content showing your service, showing your expertise, showing clientâs experiences with you... You may have just missed out on a client... Or clients.
Stop waiting, and start doing. Now is the time!
I feel like I said it a million and 1 times, but I will say it for the millionth 2nd.
You have to... YOU HAVE TO be consistent with showing up and providing value to your audience if you want to be the Go-To person in your industry.

Businesses in the manufacturing industry tend to stick to a very formulaic style of marketing.

Don't downplay the work and commitment it takes to create highlevel video content for social media.
Just because you know someone that knows someone that is doing it, doesn't mean your first video about your cat will do it also.
It takes work, learning the platforms, learning execution, etc...

It's 2024, do you have a digital marketing plan that includes content marketing for your business?

One of the main questions I get is "How can I make content that gets more engagement (views, likes, etc)...
My answer is... Heck, do a TikTok Dance... LOL I Kid, I Kid...
But seriously, it's hard enough to run a succesfull-ish business. But dump creating content for online and now you just need a nap because of depression.

But after you stop hitting the snooze button on your alarm, you have to get up, put on your adult pants and do what you need to do.

Stop focusing on the "Razel Dazel" so much that you stop just simply showing up!
Become a resource to your target audience and capitalize on the attention once you get it. Now lets get to work!
Let's be honest, most people scrolling on social media are not scrolling to buy from you or anyone else for that matter...
So in essence, your "Last Chance Sale" post is more of an annoyance than anything else... (most of the time)
There is a lot of noise online today. From Girls Gone Wild, Boys Fighting and even a very volatile election cycle. So in order to stand out, you have to give people a reason to watch your videos, read your blog, look at your photos, etc...
Do you give people a reason to tune into your post? Are you offering some sort of value that a person who visits your page feels like they left with something good?
