The Ultimate Corned Beef & Cabbage Recipe
The Ultimate Corned Beef and Cabbage recipe was adapted and inspired by a recipe featured on the @nytimes food website. I put my fresh spin on this dish by changing the cooking method and adding a few special ingredients. The corned beef came out perfect it's crispy on the outside and tender juicy on the inside. It’s packed with tons of flavor that comes from a combination of 3 different mustards, cooking the corned beef in 1 1/4 cup of Pinot Grigio instead of beer. Then finishing it off with @traderjoes Hot Honey and crisping it under the broiler for a couple minutes.
The key to this recipe is cooking the corned beef and cabbage separately. This prevents the vegetables from getting soggy and allows the corned beef to crisp. It gets cooked in a low and slow oven in a Dutch oven. I used the @staub_usa pan with a tight fitting lid and it came out perfect!
After removing the corned beef from the oven, roast the vegetables on a sheet pan at 400 for 25 minutes. We will be making this again! Our whole house smelled so good! Enjoy!

Make these King Arthur Baking Company Banana Crumb Muffins posted in New York Times and recently adapted by chef Noel Reyes. They came out delicious!!! ❤️🍌 RECIPE Below ❤️🍌I hate throwing away bananas and am always looking for ways to repurpose these little sugary gems in baking or shakes ❤️🍌 I rifted on the original NYT recipe as well. These came out surprisingly not dense like most of previous banana infused bakes. These were more cake texture. I cut back the baking soda because I don’t like the after taste in baked goods. I added a touch of sour cream to help the acids react and give it some height. Here are my other notes below. I will post the recipe in comments section. If you make them please let us know how they came out and if you liked them. Enjoy! ❤️🍌Notes: I increased the amount of crumb topping that appears in the original recipe posted in the New York Times by doubling the recipe. Other adaptions include:* reducing the amount of sugar in the muffin batter slightly because the bananas provide sweetness. * Added chocolate chips to give a nice contrast to the banana flavor. * Adding banana extract to help boost the flavor. * Added sour cream (an acid) to help raise the muffins Land O Lakes “Maple Me Crazy” butter spread is a limited edition item that is available in the Fall just in time for your Thanksgiving holiday baking. I stock up on these flavored buttered spreads because they are delicious in pies, cakes and cookies. Look for it in grocery stores near you in October 2024. If you are unable to find the LOL “Maple Me Crazy” you can recreate a similar taste by softening your unsalted butter in a bowl and adding some extra items. 1/2 teaspoon of maple syrup1/2 teaspoon of dark brown sugar1 teaspoon of oil (neutral oil like olive or canola) ❤️🍌 RECIPE Ingredients for Muffins:1 1/2 cups of King Arthur unbleached AP flour1/2 teaspoon baking soda1 teaspoon baking powder1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (Diamond brand)3
It’s not everyday that a ready-made dessert comes along that gives us French patisserie vibes 🥰 and is just as good and maybe even better than homemade. Trader Joe’s Rustic Apple Tarte is that rare delicious perfectly balanced sweetness dessert. Made the old-fashioned way with Northern Spy apples, a touch of sweet cream cheese, cinnamon, sugar and then hand-folded 👋Sold frozen and pre-baked! Pop it on a sheet pan bake at 350 for 20 minutes 🍎Tips: we didn’t use parchment to line the sheet pan because we wanted a crisp finish. We baked in a non-convection oven for 25 minutes. Let cool at least 10 on a wire rack before serving. 👉⏰ It’s a seasonal item only available for a limited time! grab a few to keep on-hand in the freezer. Perfect for holidays, brunch, and when youre too busy to bake 😊Props: Martha Stewart cake stand QVCTemptations by Tara QVCHomeworx by Harry Slatkin QVC Ralph Lauren flatware #fallishere#baking #desserts #Thanksgiving #applepie #traderjoes #foodlovers #brunchtime #foodielife #QVC

Peaches are so good this Summer! Today mom and I are testing a new recipe “Peachy Puffs” 🍑 for the cookbook 📚 It’s delicious and so easy to make. Puff pastry topped with peaches, dark brown sugar, melted apricot almond jam. We chose puff pastry because it’s a no brainer and easy to work with…just take the box out of the freezer, defrost and bake. You can use it for sweet like pop-tarts, croissants or savory recipes like a pizza board. It’s light and buttery so it compliments the tartness of the peaches ❤️🍑What is the best peach dessert you ever ate? #dessert #recipe #peaches #baking #food
