This recipe for Pizzagaina is perfect for brunch! Also known as Pizza Rustica. It is an old family recipe that has been handed down for generations. Pizzagaina orginated in Southern Italy, in the Calabria region and
Is typically made at Easter but it’s so good you'll want to serve this at your next brunch and make it throughout the year. The ingredients listed makes 1 loaf.

RECIPE:
1 pizza dough
3 slices of prosciutto
3 slices cappocola
3 slices salami
3 slices of ham
1 tablespoon of semolina
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Pinch of red pepper flakes
Fresh ground pepper
2 hardboiled eggs
2 raw uncooked eggs
3 tablespoons Locatelli Romano grated cheese
1 tablespoon of parmiagino reggiano grated cheese
2 thick slices of whole milk mozzarella
2 slices of provolone (sharp is best)
2 slices of american cheese (white)

The Ultimate Corned Beef and Cabbage recipe was adapted and inspired by a recipe featured on the food website. I put my fresh spin on this dish by changing the cooking method and adding a few special ingredients. The corned beef came out perfect it's crispy on the outside and tender juicy on the inside. It’s packed with tons of flavor that comes from a combination of 3 different mustards, cooking the corned beef in 1 1/4 cup of Pinot Grigio instead of beer. Then finishing it off with Hot Honey and crisping it under the broiler for a couple minutes.
The key to this recipe is cooking the corned beef and cabbage separately. This prevents the vegetables from getting soggy and allows the corned beef to crisp. It gets cooked in a low and slow oven in a Dutch oven. I used the pan with a tight fitting lid and it came out perfect!
After removing the corned beef from the oven, roast the vegetables on a sheet pan at 400 for 25 minutes. We will be making this again! Our whole house smelled so good! Enjoy!

These delicious King Arthur Baking Company baked Buttermilk Birthday Cake Donuts need only ✨5 ingredients ✨
1 bowl and a donut pan (I tagged products)
bake for 11 minutes and you have delicious homemade donuts without all the preservatives! The box contains 2 packages enough to make 12 donuts.
Recipe (makes 6)
1 box buttermilk donut mix
1 TBSP “birthday cake” extract
1 TBSP milk
1 TBSP water
2 TBSP melted butter
2 large eggs
Follow instructions on box to bake

Glaze the donuts with 1 cup confectioners sugar + 3 TSPN milk
Get creative with the toppings mix it up! Great for the kiddos to help
1. Dip in glaze top with shaved chocolate and “crunchy pearls”
2. Glaze topped with crushed organic corn flakes + 5 whole flakes placed at one corner
3. Brushed with melted butter and roll in cinnamon & sugar
4. Crumbled Heath toffee topped with Valrhona “Ivorie” that is browned and drizzled on top
5. 🌈Sprinkles

Today we are making delicious homemade pizza using the Emile Henry pizza stone. We chose this stone after reviewing several other brands and we love it! Its thoughtful design that includes handles for easy access in and out of the oven and the glazed clay for easy clean-up. Our pizza came out golden brown on the crust and the bottom. To make the pizza we use store bought dough to save time. We get ours from Kroger and it comes out delicious every time! Another key ingredient that we highly recommend is Rao’s Pizza Sauce.

To make the pizza
Begin by letting the dough rise on the counter for 2 hours in a lightly oiled bowl covered with a tea towel.
Heat the pizza stone for 12 minutes at 450 degrees
Next prepare your counter, we use vodka to clean the counter to avoid chemicals.
Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of semolina on the counter
Remove the dough from the bowl using a pastry scraper and place on top of semolina.
Begin flattening the dough using your fingertips and letting them dance across the dough to get your round shape.
Next stretch the dough by placing your hand palm side down on one half of the dough and pull the other half over your hand.
Remove the pizza stone from the oven with mitts
Gently place the dough onto the hot pizza stone
Bake JUST THE DOUGH for 8-10 minutes
(this allows the dough to pre-bake golden)
Remove the stone and add your toppings
Begin by spreading a thin layer of Rao’s Pizza Sauce across the pizza
Add shredded Italian cheese
Then add small pieces of torn mozzarella
Then add more pizza sauce placed randomly across the top
Top with a generous sprinkle of grated parmigiano reggiano
Oregano, red pepper flakes and thinly sliced garlic
The add a swirl of olive oil and return to the oven for 8 minutes at 450
Increase the heat to broil for 1 minute to brown the cheese
Top with fresh basil
Enjoy!
