Every heard of a "Defensible Space?" It could save your home. I'm working on a marketing project with a reputable local contractor and decided to examine why - with the recent fires - some homes survived without a scratch while homes surrounding burned down. Let me say, sometimes it's just terrible luck, and my heart goes out to those people, but sometimes it's the surrounding... defensible space, defined as a buffer zone around a building that's free of combustible materials to slow the spread of fire. I voted and got back to work. A lot of people have written about confusion re: the undecided voters. I don’t think those people sway elections. It’s the lazy non voters. We’ve had many elections where almost half the country didn’t vote. I’ve heard people say they “supported” a candidate, but later reveal they didn’t vote. When Donald Trump won in 2016, people were surprised that half the country voted for him. That didn’t happen. About a quarter of the country voted for him. A little over a quarter voted for H. Clinton and almost half didn’t do sh*t. Democracy is far from perfect, but today is your chance to do a bit of research, learn the candidates and the issues and prioritize making a difference. It took me about 30 mins to cast my ballot. Find the time and vote. You are privileged to live somewhere real voting happens. The people of Russia, N. Korea, and many parts of the Middle East voting is a joke. It’s serious here.

Just got hundreds of logo/wordmark designs from designers all over the world from LogoTournament... any designers out there would be willing to spend 15 minutes helping me decide on the rebranding? It's a bit overwhelming for my story-teller brain to just focus on wordmarks for 6 hours a day.
