Check out this quick clip from this upcoming Friday’s episode of A Humanistic Perspective with @630.boys_backup! When booking this episode, Orlando and I had multiple engagements planned, but by chance, they all did not work out until October 1st. As a part of Orlando’s life journey in 2017, he was guided to pursue a career in the cannabis industry right around October time. It just so happens that October 1st also is the anniversary of the 2017 Las Vegas shooting. All of this just so happened to be candidly recapped on our recording for this episode which was shot on October 1st, 2021! A wild, unique, and utterly unplanned moment!

In addition to sharing his life's story, we explore his recent book "Portraits of Peace: Searching for Hope in a Divided America," which connects and shares stories that focus on the common humanity that connects us. I can not thank John enough for sharing his warm energy and unique perspective on connecting writing and visual arts in a physical medium that's repurposable to audiences far and wide.

I’m so excited for this episode to release as this conversation was highly fruitful as John pushed my boundaries as an interview while intriguing my intellectual curiosity for spirituality.
