On a side note, I really wanted to publish this article on the day of the soft opening, but I just didn't quite have enough time. On the flip side, it was completely coincidental that I visited the mall the same day the shop softly opened, so I'm glad I happened to visit on that day!

Somebody asked about the building next to Dog Haus on Pershing, and I can't find that post again so I'll post this here. We Do Nails is coming soon (I just saw huge signs up as of last night), so I suspect Dirty Dough is most likely the one that isn't opening inside of that building. HOWEVER. I did get some response from Dirty Dough; they did state that they still are coming to Cheyenne. So as far as I am concerned, Dirty Dough still wants to open here, but it'll most likely be some other to-be-determined location, most likely not Pershing Marketplace. I'm hoping to find out more details soon, but that's my understanding of the situation right now. Whenever I do find more details, I intend to do a proper update on the situation.

Just throwing this out there: The older Sprouts location in Littleton CO recently relocated, and they are auctioning LOADS of fixtures off! Everything from weigh stations and sanitizer to carts and gravity food bins, and even the wall signs and trim! The store relocated to a new location late last year. This is now BOMGAARS. Don't let the signs fool you! This is only the soft opening; the grand opening is yet to come. Discounts are increasing on many products left over from JAX, and Bomgaars supplies are coming into the store. Request for PSA: DKG Plans 41st Annual Used Book Sale - Delta Kappa Gamma, an international society of educators, will collect used books beginning January 27 through February 23 for their 41st annual used book sale.

The preferred collection spot will be the sale site in the former Big Lots in Cheyenne Plaza, 3501 E Lincolnway, next to the Trampoline Park. Hours at this site will be Mon, Wed, Fri & Sat 9am-1pm. Longer hours will be Tues, Thurs & Sun 9am-4pm.

Collection boxes will be in Albertson's at 5800 Yellowstone Road, and 3355 East Pershing; Safeway at 700 South Greeley Highway; Gold's Gym, 1616 East Pershing; Sprouts, 5214 Rue Terre; and the YMCA, 1426 East Lincolnway.

If you are unable to deliver books, or have a large quantity, (within a 10 mile radius), call 630-3682, or 421-1755 for an appointment. Leave a message. Books must be boxed or bagged for easy pick up and on a porch or in a garage.

Books on CD, DVD's, games, and puzzles are appreciated. Old text books, VHS tapes, condensed books and encyclopedias do not sell. Please recycle them elsewhere.

The book sale is Saturday, March 1, 8am to 5pm and Sunday, March 2, 9am to 4pm. The second weekend is Saturday, March 8, 8am to 5pm and Sunday, March 10, 9am to 2pm at the former Big Lots in Cheyenne Plaza, 3501 East Lincolnway (next to Trampoline
Park.) If needed, a snow weekend will be March 15 and 16.

The first weekend will have regular DKG prices. During the second weekend, customers buy a provided box for $10 on entry, and may fill it.
