Hey JAX! It was cool having your store in my hometown these past five years. I'm sad to see it go, but I am glad that this location was sold and will soon reopen under new ownership--it won't really sit vacant at all. To whomever is transporting any applicable JAX stuff to other locations, I wish you safe travels! I also wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

For context to those seeing these photos: These are photos I've captured throughout the last few months, some of them as recent as this morning at opening hour, just after 9 AM. JAX opened in Cheyenne in late 2019, and recently, they "got a deal they couldn't pass up," to quote Jim and Forest Quinlan, allowing them to sell the store to Bomgaars which will reopen the store on Thursday, January 2nd at noon.

Today, December 31st, 2024 is JAX's final day open at their Cheyenne store, and it closes at 5 PM. I'm not sure at this time if another store may someday take the place holder/store number of the Cheyenne store. However, I am aware that at least some if not all of the Cheyenne JAX employee-base will be transferring over to Bomgaars. For now, the cafe will continue operating under Bomgaars, but to-boot on the 2nd, it will start with significantly fewer flavors of beverages and some other menu changes such as seasonal beverages--according to a cafe worker who was speaking to a customer.

There it is!! Nellie's has their liquor license and will now be legally able to offer alcoholic beverages. This was already anticipated, as the owner had told me on the first day that their liquor license likely would be approved by the end of the year.
