Happy New Year Everyone! This is one of my favorite series from 2024. On our way to see Lake Willoughby we stopped to check out the Kingdom Trails. Didn’t have time to ride them this year but it’s definitely something I want to come back and do!

Loved the driveway and view from this house in the Northeast Kingdom of VT. Ive got a few more from Vermont this fall to share before we hit the new year. Guess I’ll have to save the New Hampshire and Mass shots for next fall! On the bright side I’ll stay busy with editing over the winter! (I’m like two months behind 😳)

A few shots from the Robert Frost interpretive trail in Ripton VT. The trail is dotted with signs quoting some of his poems and travels through a beaver pond and lead to beautiful views of the green mountains. Even found and audio of his poem to go along with it!

Head down a short nature trail and across the footbridge to see Texas Falls, a series of plunges that flows through a small gorge. Located in the green mountain state forest, this is a great place to have a picnic or just escape into the woods for a bit. The fall foliage and mossy rocks made for an especially beautiful scene!

Here’s a few scenes I had to pull over to capture as I travelled down Vermont’s Route 100 this fall. Route 100 is Vermonts longest single highway that meanders north 216 miles through the state. It can get crowded in the fall, but for good reason. There’s some beautiful scenery along the way. It’s also known as the “skiers highway” in the winter as it leads to many of the popular ski mountains. This year was my first time seeing it in the fall and I’ll definitely be back much more in the future!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Here’s a few from Warren, VT and a couple of the hardware store in Rochester. Warren has a very nice little downtown area that’s definitely worth walking around. I have some more shots from there with the river that runs through town but I haven’t gotten to them yet!

Here’s a few shots from the Warren, VT area. The old schoolhouse that’s been converted into a general store, and a farm down the road that I couldn’t resist pulling over for.

Here’s a few from Bartlett’s falls near Bristol Vermont. Not the tallest, but definitely very scenic with the foliage and jagged rock steps.

I’m back from a couple days off, had a Wi-Fi outage on Wednesday when I was gonna post these, and took Thursday off for my birthday 🎂. Crazy we’re already almost through November and I still haven’t edited all the images from my first week of vacation. Oh well, I’ll have a lot for next fall!

Here’s a little Americana from the backroads of Vermont 🇺🇸

Had to pull over for this scene of an American flag strung across the road at the top of a big hill overlooking the mountains. It was definitely a nice overlook with the fall colors 🍁

Been a while since I did a post so here’s Moss Glen Falls in Stowe, VT. There’s two waterfalls that are named Moss Glen with the other being located on rt 100. This one requires a short hike to reach it, but it’s definitely worth it! This was one of the more popular/crowded locations we visited being so close to the town of Stowe.

Watching a sunset from the Owl’s Head Lookout was one of the highlights of our trip to Vermont. We had it all to ourselves this night too. We ended up heading down to the lake below before the sun totally set for fear they’d lock the gate on us.

Here’s a few more barn or barn related shots to finish out this series on the grid (for now). First from the Vermont country store, The Mad River Glen Shops, and finally the hotel we stayed in which was styled like a barn.

It’s busy season at my day job, so I haven’t had much time to post or edit! Working OT again today too! Hopefully tomorrow I’ll have some time to get some photo work done, I’m running out of finished shots to post 😂
