I love eating mine on salads, soups, toast, sauerkraut, or even in power bowls. Such a great way to add in more plant diversity and nutrients to fuel your body.
We tend to use the word busy as a badge of honor or an excuse. It's time we lose the word, take it out of our vocabulary. It serves NO purpose.

It took me sooo long to get started this morning, just wasn't feeling my best yet it's exactly what I needed to lift me up!!! I share because even in this wild season of life for me it would be so easy to say it's ok to check out but I'm NOT SETTLING FOR NORMAL OR WHAT EVERYONE ELSE CONSIDERS OK. We have to adjust and recalibrate according to OUR personal visions in life no matter the circumstances!!!

I teach our kids affirmations and to say good things about themselves and each other, not negative things.... Implementing self love and appreciation at a young age ๐๐๐
Starting on Feb 1st until Valentine's day I add a heart to each door with something positive or something we love about them. They wake up and it's the first thing they read every morning ๐ and enjoy telling me about it. We even discuss what's their favorite and why. Or how they feel about it. Or why mommy forgot their heart and didn't put it on until the morning lol ๐
A few years ago I added a twist and made some of them scratch off so they get to scratch the hearts to read the message of the day. (They LOVED that new addition and it made it extra special that not everyday is that way so I've continued that )

Last year I added a new twist and cut out hearts and left pens for them to write their own affirmations on their doors as well as put some on our door if they like. And I continued that this year 2.

This year I added in riddles and omg they keep repeating them so I'm assuming they are enjoying that one 2. ๐คฃ๐คฃ

Every night they remind me to put the hearts on their doors (saying mom don't forget bahahaha) and they try to sneak and read them (but I make sure they are asleep first and also why I came up with the scratch idea)...... usually they don't get as into things like this or so they say but I can tell they LOVE it as much as I do ๐๐๐ and are always eager to see what the next day says!!! I love to keep special traditions like this going and find little ways to make it more unique every year. We've had a tough year so far and we still have some big hills to climb so things like this make a huge difference
