The Grasmere Pickin' and Grinnin' is a group of musicians getting together playing Bluegrass, Southern Gospel, and some old Country music. We play and sing everything from In the Garden, to Will the Circle be Unbroken, to Walk the Line. Some typical instruments played at the pickin' include Guitars, Dobros, Pianos, Bass Guitars, Upright Bass', Dulcimers, Banjos, and Mandolins, but we've had instru

ments ranging from Jew’s harps to Tubas! The format is very informal, anyone with a song will typically just start singing and everyone else will chime in. We meet every Saturday at 10:00am and usually quit about 12:00pm, but, sometimes we play hours longer! It doesn’t matter if you’re a professional musician or just trying to get your G, C, and D chords down. All singers are welcome too. For directions, click here.
