Ben retired as a Sergeant with the San Diego County Sheriff's Office. He spent most of his career assigned to Special Investigations. His assignments with that unit included: Border Crime Suppression Team, Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs, Narcotics Task Force Team and the Ma*****na Enforcement Team.

Scott discusses the impact of the job on his family and his emotional "forced" separation from law enforcement. Scott shares a part of his career that is rarely discussed but needs to be heard.

Officer Mayerhofer started with the Lisle Illinois Police Department in July of 1990. During the course of his career, Scott served as a Patrol Officer, Detective, and School Resource Officer. His collateral duties included Field Training Officer, SWAT Operator and Fi****ms Instructor.

He was forced to retire from the Lisle Police Department in February of 2012 due to a duty related injury. He was number 1 on the list to be promoted to Sergeant at the time of his retirement.

Corporal Muller started with the Santa Barbara California Police Department in July of 1991. He left that agency in September of 1999 to pursue a career with the Santa Maria California Police Department. He held the rank of Corporal at both of those agencies. During the course of his law enforcement career, he served as a Patrol Officer, DUI Enforcement Officer, and Canine Handler. As a K-9 Handler, his responsibilities with the Santa Maria Police included responding to high-risk critical incidents requiring the deployment of a specially trained Police K-9.

He retired from law enforcement in March of 2008, after nearly 17 years of service, due to a career ending injury. Hear Wil's story on YouTube.
