I had to use the Chronicles of Narnia theme song to accompany this sneak peek of my friend Courtney’s sweet family. We went to explore Belmont Abbey campus and I told the girls there was a secret garden and forest. The oldest girl was on to my claim as she saw others around stating it wasn’t so secret 🫣. But, it was still magical to explore the trails and find flowers and spin around in dresses. Oh to be a kid again! Love you Lewis family!!

I haven’t shared something like this on here before, but maybe I should more often. I receive a lot of dreams, and several I know are from the Lord. I woke up from this particular one and wanted to encourage someone who maybe in a season of waiting or seemingly delayed promises.

I woke up from a dream talking about delayed births and promises of God. Two young women in particular were in my dream. A girl named Hallie who had infertility issues and has now conceived, and a woman named Jenessa Wait talking about timing and promises of God (she had miscarriages and infertility). Notice her last name 👀

I woke up with her saying had she had her daughter any sooner…she would not have been able to go to Million women March in DC.

In waking life she really did go and took her 4 month old named Eden who received a word over her life. Million women March was a powerful time conceived and led by Lou Engle calling a million women to the lawn in DC interceding and praying for the nation, our children, and for families.

God’s word never fails and His timing may never make sense in our own minds, but He is faithful and His timing is perfect.

“Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise.”

I had the privilege of meeting and spending time with this beautiful family a few days ago. I love documenting fleeting moments of children when they are young, missing front teeth, and twirling with Mom. Thank you for entrusting me with capturing these moments for you. 🫶🏻

Fall scheduling underway!

Hi friends! I hope you all had a wonderful summer!

As we begin the new school year, I can't help but think for some of you, your “kids” are headed into their first semester of college! For others your little started Kindergarten, or like one of mine, it’s their last year as an elementary student. Time please slow down!

I cannot believe fall is around the corner. The mornings sure have felt nice, huh? There is that hint of cooler weather on the horizon. I know fall is a busy time for many, but when you’re raising a family, isn’t every season busy?!

Now is the time to document these fleeting moments! For many of you, you just moved your kid into a college dorm!

If it’s been years since your last family session, why wait any longer?

I am offering full and petite sessions this season, so get in touch with me as I have limited availability.

Getting to see these beautiful sisters after photographing them years ago as little girls was such a joy. Emma is on her way to Wake Forest and I’m sure her family is so proud and excited for her.

It never ceases to amaze me how one day they are toddlers with bouncing curls, and then the next a gorgeous senior in high school headed to college. 🤩🤯

Thank you to for providing a lovely backdrop for pictures. The lavender season is over, but they have eucalyptus plants and a pond, and more!
