A brief statement regarding today’s executive orders regarding birth right citizenship, and any other immigration policies or legislation moving forward.
CDOG Productions believes in the power of diversity within our communities, collaborative creativity, and the unwavering pursuit of dreams—big and small.
Todays executive orders on immigration have reminded us of the importance of standing together and standing up for what is right when a side affect of legislation creates fear within our communities.
We strongly condemn any policies that place individuals and families in constant fear of deportation, by threatening to tear apart the very fabric of what makes this country great: its diversity.
We as a community thrive when fear is the exception, not the rule. It takes a kind of courage—one the current administration seems incapable of comprehending—to work tirelessly every day, knowing that, at any moment, legislation could come through and disrupt your life or worse separate you from your family.
We here at CDOG Productions are committed to fostering a community where our brothers and sisters of Latino descent, and people of all ethnic backgrounds, (for that matter) feel safe, valued, and supported. We encourage everyone who shares our vision to join us in rejecting this legislation and the fear and division it was born out of and instead embrace unity, kindness, and compassion.
Together, let’s show the world what American Values truly are: dreaming bigger, loving harder, and standing up for those who need it most.
