• sometimes its not about learning more about yourself but unlearning what you aren’t

2023 unintentionally became a year of introspection. I went a little ‘hermit mode’ but I truly have a new perspective on myself and on life. Some of the most worthwhile work you can do is taking the time to look inward and understand why you are the way you are, good and bad. It can look different for everyone but journaling and therapy are great places to start (imo, every single person can benefit from therapy!). I feel so much better equipped to take on the next chapter of our lives 🫶🏼

It is your choice to stay in your comfort zone or to put yourself first and make changes. We don't grow in our comfort zones! Let go of what no longer serves you. Embrace learning new things and making mistakes.

30 and thriving !!! 29 was one of the most transformative years of my life. My saturn return was HARD (if you’re 29 and feel like wtf is going on, google it). I felt so uncomfortable and frustrated at times but it was because of all of the growth behind the scenes. I found a good therapist, did a lot of inner work and introspection and learned so much about myself. I discovered who my true self is and realized that I’ve had everything I’ve ever needed inside of me. Ultimately, your life is what you make of it. Your journey is entirely up to you !!!

I am so excited for my thirties and so grateful for everyone who celebrated this birthday with me! Swipe for the most important lessons of my twenties 🫶🏼

A few that didn’t make the list: Tell people how you feel about them. Be open to doors closing and new ones opening. Always compliment people. You are exactly where you need to be, right here, right now. Learn to love yourself for exactly who you are. You are perfect right now because you are perfectly you !!!
