Long-range trends are cooler, but nothing arctic or crazy cold. In fact, we're cooling to just near average to slightly below after Thanksgiving for a few days, then back to way above going into December. It's early in the season for major arctic outbreaks and snow; it takes time for cold air to build and snowpack to be laid down over the Northern parts of North America before a significant arctic intrusion can come south. The charts I'm showing are ensemble blends from the many model runs, not just a single run.
