The black sheep usually doesn't follow the crowd because every once in a while, the crowd is literally going the wrong way in mass. It takes a black sheep to stand out and say, 'Hey, I think we're headed off a cliff here!' They may be labeled as outcasts or rebels, but in reality, they're the ones who are brave enough to challenge the status quo and forge their own path.

A violinist played for 45 minutes in the New York subway. A handful of people stopped, a couple clapped, and the violinist raised about $30 in tips.

The experiment proved that the extraordinary in an ordinary environment does not shine and is so often overlooked and undervalued.
There are brilliantly talented people everywhere who aren't receiving the recognition and reward they deserve. But once they arm themselves with value and confidence and remove themselves from an environment that isn’t serving them, they thrive and grow.

The plot thickens.
One rapper is shot at a recording studio.
And survives. Yet is imprisoned for charges unrelated to the set up.
Within months of release from prison.

There a original concept of the s*x tape between a rapper from the east coast and a rapper from the west coast with the fiancee of one the rappers surfaces.
The modern art of war.

From that day rap music was nolonger a sport but a business my *igger.

The rapper from west coast found peace in thug mansion.

The rapper from the east coast 7 months later was born again and I as survived by a daughter and son.

September 1996 hip hops spirit died an unnatural death.

March 1997 hip hops soul died an unnatural death.

Motown came and changed the world.

Good morning Independence Family,

May your day be filled with good vibes and good music. Got a question for anyone who is a fan of the arts. Saw a post about the talent of modern music and almost got discouraged.

Easy thing to do these days. But the post (more accurately the comments) reflected a sentiment that good music doesn’t necessarily make a difference these days. Said the only thing that matters was influence.

Does, skill, and talent and passion still matter? Does making music that resonates with the audience still matter? Has music become so commodified by the mainstream media that its only purpose now is to be the intro song for the over the top influencers that have become the norm for our culture and society?

We need answers. What do you think?
