Charleston's Trading Eights

Following a short intermission, our AIR will direct an open jazz session, where jazz musicians from the community will be welcomed on stage. Each night will close with a final performance piece, once again by our artists-in-residence. Are you a jazz musician interested in participating in our open jazz session? What you need to know:

Our open jazz session will be based off of jazz standards and t

he Great American Songbook. This session is open to the public of all ages. Instruments from the rhythm section (drums, bass, and keys) as well as a vocal mic will be provided. All performances and lectures will be held at Redux Contemporary Art Center, located at 136 St. in Charleston, SC, and will be open to the public of all ages. There is a $5 cover charge at the door. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
