"​In this ongoing quarantine and never ending seriousness of the news cycle I was delighted by the twist in this film. The build to the comedic payoffs within the short was timed perfectly. The reveal at the end had me in stitches. We've all been this woman at some point in quarantine, where every trip to the store feels like a scene from a survivalist documentary, and unexpected contact with people outside the home feels like a dangerous game. Dear QUARANTINE LIFE fans,

As you may have figured out by now, Quarantine Life has come to an end. Not in actual reality, as it seems safest to stay socially distanced and quarantined for quite a bit longer still, but the web-series QUARANTINE LIFE is coming to an end after our illustrious 1 season, 12-episode run.

Seriously though, even "Freaks and Geeks" only lasted 18 episodes, so what did you expect from us?

We'll still be posting the videos over on Funny Or Die (we're certified contributors now!) and the series is going to be screened at some more online festivals, so keep any eye out for those. We'll post some more photos and polls, so we'd love to hear a bit more about your favorite episodes and moments. We thought about putting out a blooper reel, but then realized we never made a single mistake. It's a really boring blooper reel.

For now, we just wanted to thank you for watching and enjoying and sharing the series! Putting our energy into something creative, (somewhat) optimistic, a touch absurd, and just plain fun during this strange, scary time kept our energy up and our sanity levels somewhat normal. And without you watching and enjoying, that wouldn't have been possible, so THANK YOU. We hope we offered a little dose of humor and levity to an otherwise pretty dark time.

Stay strong, wear a mask, wash your hands, and we'll see you soon,

We’re big fans of comedy. Comedy can be a way to critique the world, offer some light in the midst of serious situations, and offer perspective on our own anxieties and neuroses.

It is often in dark times that comedy can be most helpful. It reminds us of our humanity and of the joy that life can bring. That’s one of the main reasons we started Quarantine Life in the first place. We wanted to bring a little levity and laughter to what was obviously a very serious and tough time in the world. 


But there are also times when comedy distracts us from something that warrants no laughter. When things just aren’t funny anymore. When tears of laughter are replaced by tears of pain. When levity isn’t helpful, but hurtful. And instead what is needed is a serious, hard look at the problems we face as a country and as a species.

The continued systemic racism in this country is unacceptable, despicable, and something we all need to look at and address in whatever way we are able. We need to do better. Be kinder. Be more compassionate. We need to not crack a joke but instead offer support and love for our marginalized communities. Because we're all in this together.


Quarantine Life is going to be on pause for a bit so that instead of distracting you with humor, there is more room for the voices that need to be heard - the voices of people of color who are treated unjustly not just by the police but by many levels of our society. 


There are many voices to turn to and listen to and we implore you to seek them out, but for our post today, rather than a new Quarantine Life episode, we’re posting Trevor Noah's video below that offers some great perspective.
