EMS is in a crisis and our company is producing a documentary along with Bryony Gilbey called "Honorable But Broken - The Crisis in EMS". EMS heroes are first responders who are not considered "essential" workers in 37 states and therefore are non-mandated, unsustainable services. New York, CA and Texas are among the states who do not have sustainable funding for all communities who need emergency health services. RPD Media Associates LLC conceived of the idea, was a principal facilitator as well as a sponsor for the Great Holiday Train show which raised $30,000 for the New Castle Historical Society. It was a triumph for community relations and for raising awareness of the storyteller and benefactor of our town — Horace Greeley. RPD Media Associates LLC's principal owner Richard Diefenbach is a trustee of NCHS and graciously donated his time, loaned his train sets, layouts and materials as a pro bono project.

RPD Media will be shooting Robert Lynch's "A Letter Marked Free" book-signing for our specials "Heroes: Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary Things" on Sunday, October 10th at 12:30pm at the Rye Reading Room. Bob's book tells the courageous story of a World War II combat soldier fighting in Europe as told through his letters to family and friends in the 1940's. It has enormous relevance to today's young.
