We will have a proper recap with more pics and video but we just wanted to THANK YOU for helping us catch a Purple High last night!

You would most likely be shocked at the amount of hours we put into our events. Brainstorming ideas, discussing those ideas, and even more hours executing them. Sometimes just to break even.

It’s a passion project. We don’t have unlimited resources and money. We’re not Pailsey Park. What we do have is a mission, creativity, and we are willing to do the work. We hope it shows.

After the Dance Electric 9 we went back to our drawing board and started taking about The Dance Electric 10.

If you made its last night we hope to see you back next year. If you couldn’t make it last night mark your calendar for June 7, 2025.

Prince hosted hundreds of unforgettable dance parties at Paisley Park throughout the years. These gatherings didn’t require a VIP list or a hefty wallet; all you needed was a willingness to get to Chanhassen and step through the doors of Paisley Park when they opened.

We were fortunate to be part of that scene for many years, and it profoundly shaped our lives.

Our mission tonight is to honor that legacy and keep that spirit alive. We aim to create a space where people can come together to experience and celebrate Prince’s music as a community.

We hope you join us on the dance floor tonight and find your Purple High.

Please join me in wishing the baddest Prince DJ in the land, DJ Dudley D, a very happy birthday!!!

It’s been 28 years since you and I first walked through the doors of Paisley Park, and what an amazing journey its been. I’ve had a front row seat to your work in the Prince world and have watched you elevate your skills to higher and higher heights. You have put in The Work to be the best that you can be and the Prince community and lovers of his music are the beneficiaries of your ongoing efforts.

I know you had many conversations with Prince in your time with him about the state of music and the perils it faces in the modern world. I firmly believe he would be proud of what you have done with the lessons he imparted. Your work is hipping people to not only the breadth and depth of his catalogue, but to the feelings that come from people celebrating music together.

None of us in this world will be able to see Prince live again but your efforts to create an experience with his music is as close as I think we are going to get in this world.

I know he wrote this song before you two met but I can’t help but think it captures your mission when I read the lyrics.

We had so much fun on the “4th Day Of November” celebrating all things Prince at our “Purple Love Amore” party

We’re already back in planning mode thinking about producing a “Happy Holidaysofwild” Livestream in December and “The Dance Electric 9” in June. Maybe we will throw a party in between along with recording some new podcast episodes!
